With Ramadan right around the corner, I thought that I would start getting my charity work in. As part of that effort, I've joined this social network. I came across this gem during my one of my random treks on the net. check it out & tell me what you think!

I was torn going into it. I mean, I was somewhat excited at the return of the Undertaker, the four title matches, and, of course, the fact that Edge was going to be in a Hell In A Cell. I was not really sold on Batista V. Cena, but I was interested to see what they would do with it. Overall, I wasn’t exactly disappointed, but I can’t say I was overly pleased with the show either. Let’s break it down:

JEFF HARDY V. MVP

This is exactly how a curtain jerker should roll. It was full of continuous action. I loved MVPs crossface adaption. This match featured the run in by Shelton Benjamin, but it was well placed, didn’t distract from the match, and really added to the contest. WCW could have learned a lot from a run in like this. Hardy was able to hit another high risk spot, allowing MVP to get the win. Everyone involved came off looking a lot stronger than they did going in, and it wasn’t regulated to a dark match, so everyone wins. This match totally got the crowd involved, and Indianapolis was rocking. Seriously, this is EXACTLY how a curtain jerker should be.

MICKIE JAMES/KOFI KINGSTON V. SANTINO/BETH PHOENIX

I didn’t like how this ended. Costing Kofi Kingston the IC Title when the men were not even involved in the finale is a big mistake and cheapens the IC Title. If that’s how this was going to go, it should have been the girls against each other with the men at ringside, or it should have been that the title changed only if that champion was pinned, and only that title changed hands. Beth deserves to be champ. Mickie hasn’t done anything with it. While I don’t think Kofi deserves the IC Title, I do think it was too soon to take it off of him. The best part of the match was the celebration at the end, when Santino was riding Beth’s shoulders. All in all, I would say this match was disappointing given the many directions it could have gone instead of what they did.

MARK HENRY V. MATT HARDY

What the hell was the point of this match? I really detest it when WWE spends PPV time promoting TV matches, and that’s exactly what this was. I would not be surprised if there’s a rematch at ECW and this happens again. This will be a build up to a tag match between the Hardys and Henry/Atlas, to keep promoting this feud. Could this be like Hardy’s US Title feud with MVP? This could just keep going.

SHAWN MICHAELS’ BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Jericho finally returned to form with some of the best heel mic work I’ve seen in ages (not counting the almighty Edge). He hasn’t exactly been accepted as a heel since his return, but last night solidified his return in a huge way. I’m hoping Jericho claims that Michaels was dodging the punch and “forced” him to hit Rebecca. This whole piece delivered so much better than I was expecting it to. I could see Rebecca becoming the new Karen Angle. This should be exciting.

CM PUNK V. JBL

This match was a lot better than I expected. I was actually amazed at how well the two of them worked together. Punk became a legitimate champion last night by CLEANING beating JBL. He did not squeak by as James predicted. He dominated the end of the match in a way that he should. JBL came through on a level of showmanship that I was not expecting as well. This match was a delightful surprise compared to what I thought I was going to be putting up with.

TRIPLE H V. THE GREAT KHALI

The internet was all abuzz about how Triple H would make Khali look good. This match, however, was HORRIBLE. Not only was it clear that Khali still can’t wrestle, he managed to make Triple H look bad. The harder HHH worked, the worse he came off. The Pedigree at the end was horrific. The crowd was pissed. I wanted to call my satellite company and demand a refund. Your championship match of one of the top brands should NEVER draw “You Can’t Wrestle” chants from the crowd. And they were not quiet chants. They reminded me of the good old days of ECDub. They were deafening. I hope Vince was able to hear them. I’m sure Hunter was. This was the worst match I have seen in months.

BATISTA V. JOHN CENA

I’m amazed that John Cena lost cleanly. I really expected some sort of disqualification or no contest. At the very least, I expected one of these guys to pull a heel turn. This match should not have been given to us with so little buildup, but it definitely gave us some solid wrestling on the card. This match was amazing. If you missed it, you really missed out. The end was solid and made sense. Even though Batista went over, John Cena was not buried by any means. This feud should be long, drawn out, and amazing. These two are going to be giving us some solid matches for the next six months or so. It is definitely time for Cena to turn heel. The crowd was solidly behind Batista and solidly anti-Cena. Now is the time for the most gorgeous man in wrestling to pull out a chain and knock Batista’s face off.

EDGE V. THE UNDERTAKER – HELL IN A CELL

HHH V. Khali was the worst match I’ve seen in months and Edge V. The Undertaker was the best match I’ve seen in at least a year. OMG. I don’t even know how else to describe this match. This match is the reason I will be purchasing the DVD when it comes out. This was no wrestling match. It was a straight out brawl. And it was perfect from bell to bell. The spot fest that ensued was amazing. Crashing through the cage was great. Then the spear that Edge hit on Taker through the announce table made me literally jump up and cheer. The best spot of the match though, was the chokeslam from the top rope through two tables on the outside of the ring. The finale with the tombstone was perfect. I was so glad that it wasn’t the damned MMA move that Taker used to use. He may have been “reinstated” but hopefully the move has not. ;) Like I said, it was great bell to bell. Taker should have just left, but instead, he returned to the ring and “chokeslammed” Edge from the top of two ladders through the ring. As if that wasn’t bad enough, they had to go overboard and the spot where Edge went through the ring burst into flames. I know he was “going down to hell,” but this was ridiculous and really spoiled an otherwise spectacular match. This match did not hurt Edge (well, maybe physically, but still), and it let Taker return strongly after being screwed in his last Cell match. Edge proved last night that he truly is “the best thing in wrestling,” as James is so fond of saying. He may have lost, but he came off looking more impressive than Taker did, in my opinion. Going just bell to bell though, I would say this is a solid MOTY candidate. That might just be me.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT:

I think overall, this pay per view was ok. It was like a yo-yo. It was either really great (the main event) or really terrible (Khali, I’m looking at you!). The two titles that did change hands were ok, but not great. CM Punk looked solid and I can take him seriously now. Trips… well, we all knew he was leaving as Champ, and it was bad for what it was, but at least it’s over. Batista/Cena was good, but not as good as I expected. I hope they get pulled apart and have that build up now. They can keep bumping into each other, but I hope this feud is allowed to simmer for a while. And, of course, the main event was spectacular, but the ending was unnecessary. Maybe I won’t feel that way after I see where it’s going. I guess it’s something to think about.

Denna veckan har Brasiliens regering enligt planetark , inrättat en fond för att skydda Amazonas . Denna fond skall investera i hållbara och lukrativa industrier , vilket skall göra det mer lockande och lönsamt än att syssla med boskaps uppfödning och timmer försäljning.  Det som saknas är dock enligt min mening en satsning på en större närvaro av polis och/eller militär i amazonas regionen som kan kontrollera så att avskogningen minskar och så att den illegala avverkingen avstannar helt. Jag tycker dock att detta är en hoppfull början och jag tror för att kunna rädda amazonas så måste dom fattiga jordägarna få en möjlighet till annan sysselsättningen samt att det instiftas kraftigare lagar som reglerar dom multinationella bolagens närvaro i regionen. Opening Promo Time with Vince McMahon

• Vince walks down pissed. He gets and grabs a mic. He talks about his rise to power in the WWE and turning it into a global powerhouse outlasting his rival WCW. He then says he got to where he is because he did not let people take advantage of him. He says there are two things he hates more then any thing else in this world. Cowards and Traitors. He will not tolerate cowards and traitors in the WWE.
• The WWE has pleanty of both Cowards and Traitors. Cowards like his daughter Stephanie who walk out the family busniess and gave her twenty percent of the family busniess to his traitor son shane. Who abused his power by putting the companys champion and biggest superstar Stone Cold in harms way by booking him in a match against Taker. But the biggest Cowards and Traitors in the WWE are a couple of degenerates who are completely worthless and ungrateful punks by the names of the Dudley Boys. The Dudleys were nothing before the WWE. He made them famous he was the one who made the fans cheer and this is how they show their respect by running away like a coward to the other side like a traitor. And since the Dudleys like to put there nose into other people's busniess they will be punished when at the King of Ring they will face the Hardy Boys.
• "Here Comes the Money" Shane comes out with mic in hand. Dad you call the Dudleys cowards but they are the only guys with guts in this busniess. They stook up for themselves against the tyrany of Vince. There is nothing that he can do at the King of the Ring it will be the Hardys vs the Dudleys in a tag match. But since he cant punish Vince he can punish Vince's golden boy. At King of the Ring it will be Undertaker vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin in a No Disqualification match. But thats not all tonight he has decided that he will give the fans in Canada the chance to see there own Canadian hero get a chance at the world tonight when Stone Cold Steve Austin face CHRIS BENOIT!!!. Vince has a shocked look on his face as we go to commercial.

Light Heavyweight Title Match: Dean Malenko (c) vs. Tajiri

• 5 minute match
• Malenko gets far more offense than he did on Smackdown as he is prepared here.
• Perry Saturn comes to ringside and attempts to help Malenko
• Saturn inadvertently hits Malenko...Swift Kick from Tajiri gets 3.
• Winner and NEW Light Heavyweight Champion: Tajiri

After the match, Malenko is very angry with Saturn. Perry apologizes profusely.

In the back, Vince McMahon finds Chris Benoit. He congratulates him on his opportunity tonight. However, Shane has no control over the rest of Benoit's night. He should get dressed earlier than expected as he will face Rhyno next.

COMMERCIAL

In the Commissioner's office, Albert wants a shot at the KOTR tournament. Regal agrees and tells him he'll face a very familiar opponent tonight. He will have a qualifying match with Test.

Rhyno vs. Chris Benoit

• 4 minute match
• Very competitive match, Heyman putting over that Rhyno hasn't lost a match since WrestleMania and has never tapped.
• Rhyno Gores the ring post and succumbs to the Crippler Crossface.

King of the Ring Qualifying Match: Kurt Angle vs. Steve Blackman

• 6 minute match
• Both men use ground and pound and try submission moves.
• Angle elbows out of a german suplex attempt and gets the Angle Slam for 3.
• "Here Comes the Money" Shane is out to congratulate Angle on his win. He's been to war with Blackman and knows it wasn't easy.
• Angle takes the mic and says Shane's got some balls getting in the ring with him again. This time maybe, he'll finish the job.
• Angle grabs Shane when out of nowhere through the crowd comes Lance Storm. Storm takes Angle down from behind with a german suplex, then Superkicks him. Shane hugs Lance and raises his hand.

COMMERCIAL

In Shane's office he and the Dudleys officially welcome Lance Storm to the World Wrestling Federation.

Chris Jericho finds Vince McMahon. He wants to know why Benoit is getting a title shot when he's already the IC Champ. Vince says, maybe that's why. Jericho needs to start reminding people why he USED to be the future of this sport. He can start tonight. He'll go one-on-one with Scotty II Hotty.

King of the Ring Qualifying Match: William Regal vs. ?

• Regal gets a mic and voices his appreciation to Vince McMahon for putting him in charge of the tournament at King of the Ring. He felt it only right that he, William Regal be a part of this tournament. He has challenged himself tonight with suitable competitoin.
• Regal's opponent is Gillberg.
• 2 minute squash. Regal finishes him with a Regal Cutter.

COMMERCIAL

In the back the Hardys run into Vince and asked him why he thinks they would help him against the Dudley Boys. Vince says he is giving them the chance to get vengeance against the Dudleys. But if that is not sweet enough he will give the Hardys a Tag Team title match. Vince walks away and the Matt and Jeff look at eachother and nod their heads.

King of the Ring Qualifying Match: Albert vs. Test

• 4 minute match
• Aggressive match with lots of power moves.
• Test goes behind on a slam attempt and hits a powerslam of his own for 3.

Vince McMahon is with The Big Show. He is disgusted with him. He can't believe he lost to Spike Dudley last friday. Big Show needs to prove himself and do it soon or he may no longer be employed.

Chris Jericho is with Chris Benoit. He'd love to face Benoit for the WWF Title at KOTR. He knows they haven't been as close lately as they used to be and that a lot has gotten between them. But sincerely, in front of all his country people and the man who he considers a father figure, he wishes Benoit the best of luck tonight. If it can't be Jericho, there's no man he'd rather see wearing the World Title than Benoit.

COMMERCIAL

Vince tells Austin he thinks tonight is going to work out just fine.

Scotty II Hotty vs. Chris Jericho

• 4 minute match
• Jericho dominates early, but Scotty starts getting reverses and near falls
• Jericho finally grabs Scotty and throws him over the top rope.
• Jericho follows and throws him back first into the pole a couple of times. Throws him back in and locks on the Walls of Jericho. Scotty submits but Jericho does not let go for a couple of moments afterwards.
• Jericho gets off and looks regrettful about his actions. He helps Scotty up.

COMMERCIAL

We come back and take another special look at Triple H. The commentator talk about how unfortunate it is that he will no longer grace a WWF ring.

WWF Title Match: Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs. Chris Benoit

• 12 minute match
• Brilliant match with an obviously hot crowd. Almost wish I had time to transcribe matches for every show.
• Austin has the advantage and Vince McMahon makes his way out.
• Benoit counters a Stunner and gets a Crippler Crossface.
• McMahon in and kicking Benoit.
• Austin joining in the attack
• Jericho is in the ring. He's helping Benoit. Benoit and Jericho chase off McMahon and Austin.
• Austin left his belt. Jericho and Benoit both go to pick it up at the same time. Each holding the WWF Title, shades of Smackdown. Jericho lets it go and claps for Benoit, who holds it for a moment then takes it outside and hands it to Stu. Stu holds up the WWF Title. Benoit and Jericho clap for him.

Fade to black...

I just signed up for the Nike+ Human Race which is going to happen in LA on August 31st. I'm really looking forward to it. Kanye West will be performing for the event! Wiiiiii!!! But of course the main focus, will be to run for the charitable organizations that Nike is working with. Yen chose to run for the WWF (no.. not the World Wrestling Federation. I'm sure they make enough money as is), World Widlife Fund. I chose the Lance Armstrong Foundation. It was a toss up between this and the UN Refugee Agency. It should be real exciting.

Oh yes, that does mean I have to fly up to Cali again for that Labor Day weekend. It will be a short-lived but awesome trip. I can't wait to see Toro. I miss the little guy.

Next month I will be working alot more in and out of Maui for an audit. It should be a very worthwhile experience for me. I just hope I'm ready for it. The job is probably going to run through to December. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it all works out.

Well, I'm out for now. I need to clean this house up before the week starts.

Shawn’s Big Announcement

BUILDUP: Pretty decent. I just wish it were a match instead.

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: Shawn should come out and say his doctor won’t let wrestle. Jericho should make fun of him, but Shawn should leave. Jericho should then take it upon himself to keep taking out people Shawn cares about until Shawn returns.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN: Shawn will come out and say his doctor won’t let wrestle. Jericho will make fun of him. Jericho will beat him down. Shawn will decide he’s not going to lose his smile this time around.

ECW Championship
Mark Henry© vs Matt Hardy

THE BUILDUP: Well, I hate the buildup for this supposed feud. Hardy can just lose cleanly to Benjamin, but then just days later, he supposedly can take out the Miz, John Morrison AND Finlay in a Fatal Four Way? Point being, there is no way in hell that Matt Hardy is walking out as ECW Champion right now. Mark Henry is getting a decent push, and while I don’t overly care for him, he’s coming across as a decent champion over there. I do think that Hardy will be screwed out of his win, so that we can set up a longer program between the two, but I really don’t think it will ever go anywhere. I’m not excited to see this match, and I will probably use it to run to the fridge and get some snacks.

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: Mark Henry should screw Hardy out of the win. Hardy should get a rematch, loser leaves the brand style. Hardy should lose that and go back to Smackdown where he belongs.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN: Mark Henry will win and no one will care.

MVP vs Jeff Hardy

THE BUILDUP: You have two of the most interesting wrestlers going after one another. After disregarding all of the rumors of Hardy’s broken neck, I believe this should be a really fun match. I think this feud has the potential to be a main event type deal in the future. Either of these guys have the ability to be main eventers. They both want gold. They’re both in line for that. (That last line was solely for JackRoller).

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: Jeff should pick up the win, but it should be close. He needs to barely squeak by, so we can buy a continued rivalry. MVP has been getting the best of him. It’s time for Jeff to go over. At the same time, we don’t want a definitive win by either man, because it would cheapen what we have overall. I think it needs to be close, but that Hardy should get the win.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN: It will be close, but Hardy will get the win. Unless, there is some truth to Hardy’s injuries, in which case, MVP will take him out, having injured another Hardy.

Intercontinental & Womens Championship
Kofi Kingston© & Mickie James© vs. Santino Marella & Beth Phoenix

THE BUILDUP: The buildup hasn’t really happened. I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking it’s going on all the time. But no. The buildup between Santino and Beth has, but Kofi and Mickie haven’t done shit.

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: Santino should get the pin on Mickie James. He grabs the intercontinental title and gives the women’s to Beth. Then Adamle should come down and announce that Santino beat the women’s champ, so he is women’s champ, and Beth is Intercontinental Champion.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN: Beth will get the pin on Kofi, and take the IC, giving the Women’s to Santino. This will begin their decent into hell.

WWE Championship
HHH© vs The Great Khali

THE BUILDUP: I’d discuss the buildup… but…. Um….

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: Triple H should not be allowed to have a title if he can’t be around to buildup some storyline for it.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN: Triple H retains. I think this match will be better than anyone gives these two credit for, but that doesn’t mean I’m saying it will be great by any means.

World Championship
CM Punk© vs JBL

BUILDUP: JBL gets his shot, loses it. Then, rather than moving down the card, gets ANOTHER shot when Y2J does something STUPID. Buildup? I guess you could call it that.

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: We should go back in time. Y2J should get the shot at the title. He should interfere in Shawn’s announcement. Shawn should do a run in and take out Y2J, costing him the title.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN: Punk will barely pull it out. Hopefully after this, he’s given a feud with someone like Y2J or Mysterio to really solidify himself.

John Cena vs. Batista

BUILDUP: Good. Good. WTF? TAG CHAMPS? Good. Oh, and by “Good,” I mean “Good, but not as good as it could be.”

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: This feud should have been put off till Mania. They should have had the buidup at the Rumble like Warrior/Hogan did before Mania VI. As it is, we need a no contest, or a heel turn by one of them.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN: No contest. This will keep going for a while. Eventually, one of them will turn heel, hopefully ala the Bret Hart/Austin turn!

Hell in a Cell
The Undertaker vs Edge

THE BUILDUP: The buildup has been PERFECT. I honestly have not enjoyed buildup to a match like this in years. Everything makes sense, and it’s been building forever.

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN: Edge should get the clean win, boosting himself as the greatest thing in the business.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN: Edge will be screwed by La Familia, enhancing the feud with them. Taker will move on to face HHH. Edge V. Chavo just has classic written all over it………. That’s called sarcasm.

I Won a Bronze at the Summer Olympics- Nothin worse than a crybaby lamenting over a defeat, in front of the whole telvision viewing world to boot.   Swedish wrestler Ara Abrahamian threw down his greco-roman bronze medal in protest on Thursday after his bid for Olympic gold was ended by a decision denounced by the Swedish coach as “politics."  Abrahamian took the bronze from around his neck during the medal ceremony, stepped from the podium and dropped it in the middle of the wrestling mat then walked off.  “I don’t care about this medal. I wanted gold,” he said (Sports: Boo Hoo).  A bitter Abrahamian, silver medalist at Athens 2004 who had high hopes of top honors in the 84kg competition in Beijing, announced he was quitting the sport.  The Swedish wrestler had to be restrained by teammates earlier when a row erupted with judges over the decision in a semifinal bout at the Chinese Agricultural University Gym with Andrea Manguzzi of Italy, who went on the take gold.  Abrahamian shouted at the referee and judges then went over to their seats to speak to them up close. He angrily threw off the restraining arm of a team official then turned and left.  Swedish fans booed loudly as the judges filed out of the arena.  Abrahamian said nothing to waiting reporters but whacked an aluminium barricade with his fist as he left the hall.  Abrahamian later said he believed his loss to the eventual gold medalist Minguzzi was totally unjustified,  Oh, poor baby.  You choked in front of the whole world, at the Olympics no doubt, you luck out and win a Bronze, albeit the Chevy Cavalier of Olympic medals, and your whining about it.  There are thousands of former high school wrestlers out there right not wishing they were in your shoes buddy.  They're all at home wearing their singlets and head gear, drooling as they watch Greco Roman style matches on tv.  Some are even wearing their lettermen's jackets right now, even though they haven't fit since the 80s.  Suck it up buckaroo.  You were given the chance of a lifetime to represent Sweden in this year's games.  Too bad you blew it.  Don't worry though.  There's always the WWF, but those matches are fixed too.

They were simply a necessary casualty.
Some may wonder why if Shane McMahon has 50% control over the World Wrestling Federation, why he would even care about WCW. The answer to that should be obvious. The WWF is his dad’s company. It doesn’t matter who has control. It doesn’t matter that he’s able to make a title match. The WWF will always belong to Vince McMahon. But WCW is Shane’s. It is the Phoenix that will rise from the ashes and drive Vince out of this business for good. Then he will merge the two companies and under the banner WCW, this company will thrive once again.
Without further ado, Shane introduces the first official members of the new WCW.
The Dudley Boys Arrive
Bubba: In 1999 when we were brought into this company, we were already multiple time ECW Champions and the most dominant and over team in the sport. So when we decided to sell our souls to the devil, we expected it to come with rewards. Instead we went into our first creative meeting and they said, you know what was funny Bubba? When you used to stutter. You do that on Raw and you’ll get real heat and draw money. So I did it. And for 2 years I have taken every damn insulting idea they’ve had and we’ve run with it. I assaulted women because I was told to. We used tables in matches we could have won in three minutes, we rehashed a stupid beer commercial every time we wrestled for your entertainment. Then Shane McMahon reminded us, we could be just as over and just as entertaining, just by beating people’s asses, like we’ve always done. Matt and Jeff, it wasn’t personal. No, you know what it was. You couldn’t lace our boots, but still you guys and Edge and Christian you’re prettier than us, so you’re the poster boys. We’re just the big ugly dudes who have been carrying you for two years. Well no more. Our time is now.

X—Pac comes off the top rope right into a superkick by Rikishi. The Samoan Drop finishes it.

Dean Malenko is summoned to William Regal’s office. He knows that for some time Dean has felt unchallenged for his Light Heavyweight Title. Dean says in two months as champion, he’s barely broken a sweat. Regal has a feeling that will change tonight. He will meet a newcomer to the WWF tonight in a non-title match. Dean looks forward to it.

Elsewhere, Shane McMahon now has his own office, adorned with WCW merchandise. He tells the Dudleys that his surprises aren’t over just yet. Tonight the Dudleys will face Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho.

In the back, Chris Jericho asks William Regal if he will get the shot at Benoit’s title at King of the Ring. Regal says he and Mr. McMahon have given it a lot of thought and decided that yes, Chris Jericho will have his rematch at King of the Ring. If they beat the Dudleys tonight.

The Opponent is none other than Yoshohiro Tajiri.

Dean is completely unprepared falling to all of Tajiri’s offensive moves
Tajiri ducks a clothesline off the irish whip and a kick to the ribs followed by one to the head finishes it.

Promo Time with Stone Cold Steve Austin
He doesn’t know what the hell’s going on anymore
WCW is in the WWF, Shane McMahon is telling him who to fight.
He doesn’t give a damn what Shane says, he’s not fighting The Undertaker
Shane is out. He doesn’t want there to be any hard feelings between Stone Cold and himself. He’s doing what’s best for this business. Keeping WCW out of Vince’s hands was best. Giving wrestlers the opportunity to get out of Vince’s web is for the best. Having Austin fight Undertaker is for the best. No longer will the WWF be run by a tyrant, Shane McMahon and WCW will give the fans what they want. If Austin doesn’t fight Undertaker at KOTR, he will be stripped of the WWF Title.

Rhyno is in Regals office. He wants to know how many more people he has to Gore before he gets taken seriously. He wants a shot at the WWF Title. William Regal assures him that that is not going to happen. But since he barged in here so rudely he can defend his own belt tonight. Against former champion Steve Blackman.

Bull finishes Sexay off with a TKO

Dean Malenko tells Regal he wants Tajiri again on Monday. Regal says that’s fine, but this time it will be for the gold.

Edge and Christian are in the back. Christian doesn’t think it’s fair that Edge got Bob Holly on Monday and he had to wrestle Kane. Edge tells him to relax. Once Edge wins King of the Ring, he’ll totally share the throne. They can be co-kings. Christian doesn’t seem quite as grateful as Edge might like him to be.

The kendo stick comes into play early and often
Blackman gets a big kick that sends Rhyno into the ropes.
Another kick misses and Rhyno finishes it with the Gore.
Rhyno on the mic, he wants Austin and if somebody doesn’t give him what he wants, they’re all gonna get Gored!

In the back, Chris Jericho passes on what Regal told him earlier. Benoit says then they’d better win.

They take out D-Von and throw him over the top.
Benoit hits the Swan Dive headbutt on Bubba and looks over at Jericho as if he may not cover.
Jericho hits the lionsault and the ref recovers to count 3.
Jericho retrieves the IC belt. Benoit tries to take it but Jericho is reluctant to release it.

The Undertaker vs. Mankind
(WWF In Your House: Revenge Of The Taker, 20/04/97)
Man I love wrestling in 1997. It was the perfect stepping stone between the wrestling I liked as a kid and the wrestling I liked as a rowdy teen. I remember really liking this match at the time, but I haven't seen it since. Turns out it's still really good, probably the second best Undertaker/Mankind match (behind Hell In A Cell, obviously). The Mankind feud was so awesome, I really bought into it at the time, and it allowed Undertaker to actually start having good matches. The story here is that Mankind and Paul Bearer have been tormenting Taker for like a year, and he's fucking sick of that shit, especially now that he's finally the World champion again and has bigger fish to fry. Oh yeah and Mankind attacked him with a blowtorch a few weeks before this. This means that Mankind has to take some even harsher punishment than he normally did, with Taker just hurling the back of his head into the steel guardrails repeatedly, tossing him into the crowd and even dropkicking the ring steps into his face (talking point: Undertaker is a far better wrestler than Rob Van Dam. Discuss). Mankind's stuff is pretty cool too, completely denting a chair over Taker's head, and diving from the second rope all the way to the floor with a big elbow drop. The best part of the match though, is Undi ripping off Mankind's mask for the first time (to a huge crowd reaction) and charging at him with the steps - causing Mankind to go flying off the apron and go HEAD FIRST through a table. Jesus Christ. He gets to kick out, but then gets Tombstoned and pinned. Afterwards, there's a pretty awkward bit where they take ages for Paul Bearer to get a fireball thrown in his face. Ha ha, botchamania. The match itself is still very good though.

The Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy (Ladder Match)
(WWE Raw, 01/07/02)
Having grown up with the Dead Man, short haired, leather pants wearing, Limp Bizkit liking, functioning heartbeat Undertaker was pretty disappointing for me. Not disappointing in a "oh man, I thought I had another packet of crisps left" way, but in a WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS BOLLOCKS way. Having said that, after he got used to it, turned heel and became a big bullying biker, he did start to have some great matches. This is one of them, with Jeff Hardy (who was still really, really popular back then, but wasn't as established as a singles wrestler, so even more of an underdog) trying to realise his dream and win the Undisputed title in his kind of match, the Ladder match. Which, obviously, means that most of the match is Jeff trying to use his speed and the ladder to outsmart the big jerk, while Taker just spends the match beating the living shit out of him. The crowd reactions in this match are phenominal, everytime Jeff manages to floor Undertaker for long enough to climb the ladder the crowd are literally going insane, and are genuinely crushed every time Taker stops him. There's no massive ladder bumps or anything in this match (the chokeslam off the top at the end is the closest you get), but that's not really the point in this match - it's about the hopelessly outclassed youngster trying to make a name for himself, and then trying just to survive. I need to stop writing about wrestling as if it's great literature. Anyway, the chair shots are brutal, Jeff Hardy is the best babyface ever, and afterwards Undertaker comes back, gives him the Last Ride, and when he gets up for more, shakes his head like "bloody hell, lad" , pats him on the back and raises his hand because he finally earnt his respect. IT IS FUCKING FANTASTIC.

Triple H vs. Billy Gunn
(WWF Raw, 06/09/99)
Simon linked me to this on Facebook, and said it was a great match, so I was not surprised that it involved Billy Gunn. I was surprised that it was actually pretty good though. No, seriously. Billy Gunn was really over with the crowd, I guess that's the good thing about 1999 stuff....out of context, it's a bit confusing and stupid, and I can hardly remember any actual good matches from then (the storylines were good, don't get me wrong), but loads of people were REALLY over. The crowd hates HHH (so does JR, which is funny), and so they really want Billy to beat him. And the actual match is quite good too...Billy Gunn does nothing to bore me, or piss me off. Like, at all. It's for the title, so obviously, H wins with the Pedigree. But...yeah, surprisingly good, really fun Attitude era-style match.

I also watched some of the Extreme Intergender match from One Night Stand 2006 (Mick Foley, Edge and Lita vs. Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer and Beulah McGillicutty) too, but I couldn't be bothered watching the whole thing because it's pretty long (but also pretty fucking awesome), so luckily I clicked on one with hilarious alternate commentary with Foley and Joey Styles. This is a really good match though, even though Funk is like three hundred years old and Tommy is a big fat hack. In this enviroment and this kind of match, everyone was great.

This match led me to watch Mick Foley vs. Ric Flair in an I Quit match from Summerslam '06, which I've never seen but was a lot of fun. Actually, not sure that's the right word considering the ungodly amount of violence, but whatever. I might write up a big review of it later on, but at the moment I can't be bothered explaining why Foley is so great, especially as I'm now realising that whoever mentioned that he might not be that good the other night probably just said it because they knew how furious I would be. Good times.

Ric Flair trying to tear Foley's eye out with a barbed wire bat and shouting I'LL KILL YOU TOO BITCH at Melina is brilliant though.

Etter mye organiseringsarbeid greide jeg til slutt å samle ALLE ungdomspartilederne foran Stortinget for å gjøre Grønn Finger!

For å rette fokus på viktigheten av tverrpolitisk samarbeid i klima-kampen fikk jeg ungdomspartilederne til å stå sammen om et felles klima-kav til sine moderpartier: vern Lofoten og Vesterålen. Alle ungdomspartilederne var med på dette (AUF, Unge Høyre, Unge Venstre, Senterungdommen, KrfU, SU og RU). FpU-leder stillte også opp på klima-stuntet, men deltok ikke på felleskravet om vern av Lofoten og Vesterålen.

Vi fikk TV2 til å bite på saken (har lært utrolig mye om medie-kontakt, hvordan å skrive presseinvitasjoner og pressemeldinger osv. av alt dette + veldig gøy når man får napp og suksess!)

Innslaget kom direkte på TV2 Nyhetskanalen (les om saken her!), men alle opptakene vi gjorde etterpå for innslaget som skulle komme på dagsrevyen ble dessverre ikke brukt, da Grønn Finger ble underprioritert pga krigen i Georgia... men sånn er livet, sånn er media.

Det at jeg klarte å gjennomføre dette fra kun en idé jeg fikk til å faktisk få ALLE ungdomspartilederne og media med, er jo uansett kun en vinn-vinn-situasjon! Ungdomspartilederne sprer nå Grønn Finger- til resten av sitt parti, og vi får mer klima-fokus inn på deres hjerner og nettsider (i dag for eksemper- dagen etter stuntet, har saken forsiden av KrfUs nettsider med bilde av lederen med Grønn Finger og linker til vår Facebook-gruppe The Green Finger Project osv!)

Oggetto: Danni ambientali causati dall’Impianto industriale ITALCEMENTI Spa di Isola delle Femmine.

Nei giorni scorsi sono state segnalate da abitanti del luogo ed in particolare di via “passaggio dell’aquila” in contrada Raffo Rosso continue ed anomale immissioni in atmosfera di intense colonne di fumo nero che si disperdevano immediatamente per effetto dei venti sull’intero centro abitato di Isola delle Femmine. Le scriventi organizzazioni, intervenute immediatamente hanno potuto constatare, come documentato dalle allegate fotografie, la portata e la gravità del fenomeno, visto che il materiale movimentato in questione è il pet-coke sostanza gravemente nociva e cancerogena. Peraltro già in data 10 giugno 2008 in risposta ad interrogazione consiliare l’Assessore all’Ambiente del Comune di Palermo Prof.ssa Francesca Grisafi riteneva opportuna l’emanazione di apposita ordinanza di divieto di carico-scarico e movimentazione del pet-coke all’interno del perimetro cittadino, considerando i rischi e la pericolosità di tale materiale per la salute dei cittadini. Occorre inoltre segnalare che le attività intraprese da Italcementi spa a seguito del rilascio dell’autorizzazione integrata ambientale (AIA) del 18 luglio 2008, sono in netto contrasto con le normative europee e nazionali in materia visto che la movimentazione ed il trasporto (alleg.foto) avvengono con sistemi che non consentono di garantire la perfetta tenuta ed ermeticità onde evitare rilasci o dispersioni in ambiente di sostanze pericolose e disattendono inoltre buona parte delle condizioni e prescrizioni impartite dalle Autorità competenti cui è subordinata l’AIA.

Le scriventi associazioni, consapevoli della pericolosità dei fenomeni descritti, confidano in un sollecito intervento ed in una attenta verifica delle condizioni/prescrizioni impartite.
