Thanks to a WordPress Trac entry, I got the right regular expression to strip all shortcode in All in One plugin.

Make the following changes to fix the SEO pack problem:

Edit the file all_in_one_seo_pack.php.

On Line 1059, find:

function trim_excerpt_without_filters($text) {
$text = str_replace(']]>', ']]>', $text);

Below it, add:

$text = preg_replace( '|\[(.+?)\](.+?\[/\\1\])?|s', '', $text );

On Line 1074, find:

function trim_excerpt_without_filters_full_length($text) {
$text = str_replace(']]>', ']]>', $text);

Below it, add:

$text = preg_replace( '|\[(.+?)\](.+?\[/\\1\])?|s', '', $text );

That should do it!  Let me know if there are any issues that come up.

A few negatives when it comes to WordPress. I had to change my username. I go by Classicrose at Blogger but that name is already taken at WordPress. I was not a happy camper :-( So I’m going by Ladyrayne now. I like it cause it’s unusual. I noticed you can’t preview your blog post. And since there was already a TalkingStuff url with WordPress I had to change my link to TalkinStuff.

Danny Chan, who plays Lee in an upcoming Chinese TV series, attended the opening ceremony of the exhibit Friday, organized by the Hong Kong-based Bruce Lee Club.

Chan said he hopes the exhibit will improve public understanding of Lee.

Lee died July 20, 1973, at 32 from swelling of the brain.

Talks are also ongoing about turning Lee's former home in Hong Kong into a museum. The philanthropist who owns the two-story house has offered to donate the property and has lobbied the government to help convert it into a museum.

Podemos tambien tomar imagenes de blogs de blogger.com, wordpress.com, sin temor a que esto le afecte a la persona dueña de la imagen, pero se no debe hacer un habito pedirlas, es cuestion de cada quien.

En fin esto es para que mas gente se de cuenta de tal problematica, suena algo exagerado, pero es real, y uno no se da cuenta hasta analizarlo, hay varias soluciones, la primera como ya dije es subir las imagenes a un servidor gratuito, la segunda es para los bloggers, pueden usar plugins en el caso de wordpress, puieden usar "hotlink-protection" y poner alguna imagen, que intercambie las imagenes "robadas" bueno eso es todo, esperando que los lectores de esta entrada lo piensen dos veces antes de un HotLinking, saludos.

So who owns this blog?  Initially I thought, Company XYZ because they pay John Doe a salary to create and update the blog.  Then I looked up the definition of what a blog is and suddenly it's not so clear since John Doe has contributed some of his own topics and his own opinions on this public blog site which he has created using his own name.

So who owns this blog? I'd be interested in your thoughts on this and what the best way is to resolve and prevent this type of scenario from occurring again. For now, Company XYZ is currently going to seek legal counsel, and John Doe has moved on to other endeavors.

As usual it did not take us long to find the right one. Both Björn and I had already worked with wordpress, so when we decided this morning that we needed better blogging software, it was immediately clear what we would do.

We had experimented with Serendipity, but even the little management you have to do there would have kept us from our mission. Why spend 1 hour configuring a blogging system, when you can just sign up at wordpress?
