Tamara, Vrčak y Adrijan han sido los seleccionados por Macedonia para representar al país en la segunda semifinal de Eurovisión.

Tamara comenzó su carrera musical en serio en 2001, fecha en la que comenzó a presentarse a diferentes festivales de la canción, entre ellos el de Montenegro (ya sabemos por dónde recibirá votos). No es la primera vez que asistirá al escenario eurovisivo puesto que en el año 2004 hizo los coros de Tose Proeski. Tampoco es la primera vez que se presenta a una preselección de su país, ya que quedó en segunda posición el año pasado.

Vrčak ya tiene en la calle dos discos que lo han alzado con numerosos premios a la mejor canción, mejor artista y otros más. Ha compaginado sus estudios como médico con la música y colabora en ayudas humanitarias. Fue el autor de la canción "Ninanajna" que participó en el festival de Eurovisión en 2006 y ahora él mismo ha compuesto esta canción para sus dos amigos y él.

Adrijan está especializado en coreografías, lo que, uniendo el esfuerzo y cualidades de sus compañeros en canción y composición, otorga a este grupo de cantantes el merecimiento de ser la canción mejor planeada de la historia del festival, aunque eso es algo que los espectadores deben decidir.

Vânia Fernandes es bien conocida en su país por haber ganado la versión portuguesa de Operación Triunfo 2008. Aunque ha explorado numerosos registros a lo largo de su carrera musical antes de presentarse al concurso y durante el mismo, el fado es uno de los estilos en el que más experiencia tiene y lo demuestra una vez más con la canción "Señora del mar" que representará a Portugal en Eurovisión.

Seriously. It just annoys me to no end.

Been thinking about moving out a lot. And though I still feel that it's a good choice, I've decided to put it off. For one, I think I gotta focus more on my new job than anything else. And I won't be able to do that if I'm forever worrying about my meals and making up my bed and stuff. Once I'm settled with work, then maybe I can put my plans into action a bit easier.

Playing adult is hard. In as much as I take my responsibilities seriously, I couldn't help but feel exhausted all the time. Speaking of responsibility, I think I made a big mistake once again.

The unconventional decided to turn the wheels around and now I'm staring back at a speeding car's headlights. It's gonna hit me hard soon but I've already resigned to the fact that I'd get hit rather than move onto the sides. The choices we make aren't always sane, but I try to take responsibility. I made a decision to be in this position, so be it.

When it hits me, please try not say, " I told you so." I know that already, even before I told anyone.

I wish being an adult means more fun. Unfortunately, it means more fun and more fuck-ups. However sane or insane your decisions may sound, at the end of the day it sucks being an adult.

But I cannot buy it lah. Because mommy is around and she will kill me for 1. buying sweets that's not exactly cheap and 2. because my idol endorsed it. Still it's so cute I think I'll just go back to Giant like next week to get them to try.

isn't it great to spend a lazy afternoon this way?

I picked her up at the airport around 1 pm and we went to a club called Nyx, on Residency Road. There was an afternoon party going on there, and girls were being given free entry. I tried not to get upset at this gender discrimination as one of our friends had come down to let us in with a free pass, thus avoiding the cover charge of a thousand bucks, and we got in amidst the huge group of single, sexually frustrated men trying in vain to get into the club. The dance floor at Nyx was quite good, but the music sucked ass big time! Lame tracks and an equally lame, unprofessional DJ ensured that dance floor veterans like Nam and I looked at each other and rolled our eyes every now and then!

We both didn't dance much, and were acting as bodyguards to the four kids - all eighteen to twenty years old - who had come along. Nam's sister and two cousins were among them, and we both were forced to shield these pretty, young girls from the throng of lecherous men dancing all around us. We were getting a bit frustrated as we couldn't find a chance to dance together, and every opportunity we got, we went out of the dance floor and smoked a ciggie, gulped down a beer, and came back to protect the young ones. We did, however, manage to squeeze in a good 30-minute swinging session at the end, and we were both dead tired as we came out, leading the young girls, who were having their first experience at clubbing. They were giddy with excitement, and one of them had had one drink too many and threw up a couple of times, and came out smiling serenely.

Nam and I, looking at the kids' excitement, became nostalgic and started reminiscing about our first experience of dancing, drinking and smoking, and realized that at 24, we were too old to appreciate their experience. This bittersweet thought made us a bit mad, and we decided to go one step further. We decided to go clubbing, just the two of us, in the night, to a better place, with a better crowd and better music. And what better place than Fuga!!

After dropping the kids home, I waited for Nam to change and get dressed and we drove all the way to Fuga at around 9 in the night. She was dressed in a lovely black sleeveless top, a brilliant white skirt and six-inch heels, making me look like a homeless, penniless beggar next to her, dressed in a dirty blue shirt, with dirty army-green cargos and heavy leather boots. Couples had to pay a cover of a thousand bucks, which I did, and we entered the club at precisely nine-thirty. The dance floor was thankfully empty, and we found a table, where we ordered Guinness and some munchies and began the long wait for the DJ to start spinning.

And the wait was worth it. :D

We danced and danced and danced to some heavenly tracks, house music and heart-stopping tunes, danced till we could drop, and danced more! The floor was jam packed, but I'm sure everyone was watching us steal the show! :D

The music was just too good, notches higher than the junk we had been through at Nyx, and by 12.30 in the night, we were drenched in sweat, and couldn't dance anymore.  Two missed calls from Dad made me gulp as I led her away from the floor and out the door of Bangalore's best night club. We sat in the car and smoked one last one, and stopped at Empire to grab some dinner.

As dropped her off, the only thing that was running through our heads was that we are never too old to have fun! We made plans for some more crazy nights and hugged and bade goodbye.

I drove back home and faced the music from Dad. Oh, I forgot to mention, I had stolen his car for the day, and he did not like it one bit! I came home smelling of booze and smoke and sweat, and he glared at me with anger and started his lecture on time sense, responsibility and sanity. :D

All in all, a perfect day, and an even perfect night! :D
