The official PlayStation 3 Bluetooth headset will be arriving in the US on October 14 for $49, or a bundle price of $59 if you want to buy it and SOCOM Confrontation together. The headset itself has a "High-Quality" mode, which activates its dual mics and apparently uses "high bandwidth" to make you sound better to the other dudes on your team. There's also auto-pairing with the PS3 when you connect the headset via USB, and a speaker mode when you dock it in the desk charger. The problem with this "high-quality" mode is that it's only available for the PS3, not for your cellphone. Our guess is that HQ-mode takes up more power, or it'd be on all the time.

Hip Hop artist Lupe Fiasco made a quick stop in Bloomington over the weekend for an Indiana University Welcome Week performance, and guess who had front row tickets.

Thanks to having a few hookups at the IU Auditorium, a friend and I were upgraded from row 6 seats to the orchestra pit where we were so close to the stage that sweat was pouring onto us like we were in the front row at Sea World.

The show: If you're a fan of Fiasco's albums but have ever felt that it's just a little too laid back, his live show should be the show of your life.

A high energy show from the get-go, the concert started out with Fiasco's 7 piece band (2 keyboardists, a drummer, guitarist, bassist, a DJ, and a co-rapper), 1500 or Nothin, jamming on stage. Then came Fiasco, storming out onto stage and heading right into his breakout hit Kick, Push from the 2006 debut Album Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liqueur.

Taking it down a notch, Fiasco transitioned into the the slow jam Hip Hop Saved My Life, one of the most soulful and best written song's off of his sophomore album Lupe Fiasco's The Cool. A few songs later, Fiasco stopped the concert to debut some songs from his third (and what he said was final) album.

The entire concert was a high energy, soulful, and funk-filled evening. The band was into it, Fiasco was on all night and the passion with which they preformed outstripped almost all other bands I have ever seen, it was a great show and even if your only a casual fan, it's a show worth seeing.
