We came to conclusion that is really a narrow point of view if we are just focusing on improving productability. In our daily business lives we also try to optimize costs, not only maximize the revenues. So, we should also consider to decrease human energy consumption. Therefore, instead of making for example bigger GM corn, we should start modifying future generations much smaller. We are now in average 170cm and making our kids just to let's say a size of a 25cm midget would make a huge difference to food consumption.

There would be a long transition period. Our giant generation and smaller low energy generation would co-exist for almost a century and this definitely would have some side effects. As a Scandinavian I can clearly see a midsummer party, where drunken grandfather at his 70's throws his badly behaving grand children to the lake after argument caused by this 145cm generation gap. After 100 years these things wouldn't of course happen.

What is more interesting, there would be a massive impact to carbon hydroxide emissions, as we would either need either smaller airplanes or less airline traffic. Same goes for cars and other transportation. We wouldn't need so much cotton or oil based textiles and so forth. Huge impact to worlds energy balance in general, and by just reducing size of humans, we would solve also oil crisis.

On the other hand, instead of reducing the body size, we just could reduce the size of our most energy consuming organs by using genetic engineering. And let's just start with the organ that consumes the most energy... Well, it seems to be the brain that represent 25% of daily body glucose consumption. After all, the genetically engineered human future doesn't look too bright. Maybe we should just concentrate to engineer corns, carrots and potatoes.

Not everyone agrees that organic food tastes different from "conventionally-grown" (poisoned) food. Today, I picked about a dozen radishes from my garden plot. Their leaves were a bit chewed (as you can see in the photo), but the part that most people would eat were fine. Look at how deep red they are! Most radishes that I have seen in the grocery store are a bit lighter in color. Also in the photo, you can see (part of) a pepper that I picked today. This is pride talking, but it was the freshest, best pepper I have had in my life. Though it was a little on the small side, it was ready to eat. I made a rice & beans dish and added the pepper to it. Maybe it was not the lack of pesticides responsible for improved taste...maybe it was just the freshness. Either way, I feel accomplished to have gotten even this much out of my small space in the West End Community Garden.

In the 21st century, many of us are relearning what our ancestors practiced for ages-- living with less invasive manipulation of the environment. We try to figure out what it was people did to secure crops without spraying chemicals.

Grow Organic, lists the following as "organic gardening 'do's'":

• manage the whole yard organically--edible crops, ornamentals, lawns, and paths.
• make the garden wildlife-friendly, encouraging birds, insects, and small animals to control pests.
• learn to distinguish pests from their predators.
• play to the garden's strengths, capitalizing on its particular characteristics.
• make soil care a priority.
• make compost and leaf mold to feed the soil.
• reuse and recycle, to cut down on the use of finite resources and reduce pressure on landfills.
• use organically grown seeds where possible.
• consider the environmental implications when choosing materials for hard landscaping, soil improving, and so forth.
• collect rainwater, and reduce the need for watering by improving soil and growing appropriate plants.
• make local sources your first choice.
• use traditional methods where appropriate.
• make use of the latest scientific findings where acceptable organically.
• stop using artificial fertilizers.
• give up smoke-producing bonfires.
• control weeds without the use of herbicides.
• avoid the use of pesticides and preservative-treated wood.
• say no to genetically modified cultivars.
• recognize the value of genetic diversity and preservation of threatened cultivars. ( p. 18 )

A Slice of Organic Life expands past gardening to cover foraging, livestock, and renewable energy. Right now, there's no shortage of information on organic gardening and living. Ten years ago, one would have spent as much time foraging for information as they might have spent foraging for mushrooms or berries.

What exactly is organic? Obviously, it means not using manufactured pesticides. There's more. The Organic Trade Association explains:

Organic practices prohibit the use of hormones, antibiotics or other animal drugs in animal feed for the purpose of stimulating the growth or production of livestock. If an antibiotic is used to restore an animal to health, that animal cannot be used for organic production or be sold, labeled or represented as organic.

So, it's not just a matter of keeping fruits and vegetables natural, but animals as well.

Additionally, organic foods can not be genetically engineered.

For those in the area without garden space, there is now an organic farmers' market every Saturday at the Green Vibration starting at 10am. This runs rain or shine, and ends in August.

Current Concerns

On 19 March 2008 Monsanto accepted their responsibility for the genetic contamination of Schmeiser’s canola fields in an out of court settlement between Percy Schmeiser and Monsanto.

In an earlier trial the Canadian Supreme Court had recognized the legality of the patent protection to Monsanto’s Transgene, but at the same time this court had transferred the question about the legality of a patent about life and forms of life to the Canadian Parliament for re-evaluation. In accordance with earlier legal norms the owner of a patent on a certain gene is also the owner of the respective harvest. This question is still pending and has to be re-assessed by the Canadian Parliament.

Since Schmeiser could prove that he had never used Monsanto’s genetically modified seeds nor the total-herbicide Roundup Ready going with the Monsanto GM seeds, and that he had indeed no advantage from the pollution and contamination of his harvest, he was acquitted of Monsanto’s compensation demands.

In 2005 Schmeiser again found Monsanto GM Rap plants on his fields. He informed Monsanto and demanded that the company remove the plants. Monsanto confirmed to Schmeiser that the plants were Roundup-Ready raps and therefore property of Monsanto. Referring to the existing judgement that the owner of a plant is also liable for plant contamination damages, Schmeiser had the plants removed professionally and forwarded the removal cost invoice to Monsanto.

In earlier attempts to achieve an out of court settlement, Monsanto had not consented to paying the removal cost amounting to $660, so Schmeiser subsequently had sued the company. Monsanto would have paid for the contamination damage, but only under the condition that Schmeiser signed a “gag agreement”, i.e. he would agree not to talk about  the damage case, which would have deprived him and/or his wife of the right for the remainder of their lives to ever speak about the case publicly or to ever again sue Monsanto for contaminating their harvest in future before any court. Schmeiser rejected. The demands raised by Monsanto were totally immoral. When the judge asked why Monsanto had not simply paid the very small sum of $660, Monsanto’s lawyer Richard W. Danyliuk responded that there was a lot more involved than just $660.

One hour before the court hearing was scheduled on March 19, 2008 Monsanto accepted all demands of Percy Schmeiser as well as their responsibility for the contamination of Schmeiser’s fields. Monsanto does not only pay for the damage but also accepts that Schmeiser reports and informs the public about the background and that he can express his opinion and position about this case in public. The acceptance of responsibility by Monsanto as the owner of the patented Transgene for the contamination of neighbouring fields opens the path for all farmers in the world to demand compensation by Monsanto.

WILL Australia's farmers fall for the charms of drought-resistant wheat, even if it's genetically modified? Faced with climate change and a growing food crisis, enthusiasts certainly hope such traits will help overcome aversion to GM technology. Of 24 strains of GM wheat tested in field trials, two lines exceeded the yield of the non-GM variety by 20 per cent under drought conditions, according to German Spangenberg of the Victoria Department of Primary Industries in Melbourne, Australia. The results were presented last week at the Bio2008 convention in San Diego, California.

Sludge fertilizer program spurs concerns - AP/Yahoo 4/13/08

Northeastern US forests inadvertently made fire-resistant - Treehugger 11/28/07

It identifies the epicenter of DP concentrations as being near the factory where the chemical is produced by OxyChem - Occidental Petroleum Corp.. Concentrations in tree bark within a few miles of the factory were several thousand times higher than those found in bark at more distant sampling sites, including Indiana, Virginia and Maryland. We humans have lipids in and under our skin, just like tree bark? See the point?"

Коли мова йде про успіх генетично модифікованих організмів, то приклад папайї виявиться чи не найуспішнішим. Адже генетично модифікована папайя вирощується вже понад 10 років.

Цитую статтю в Science: “Історія почалась в 1978 році, коли молодий вірусолог рослин Деніс Гонзалес повернувся відвідати свою батьківщину Гаваї. Вірус кільцюватості папайї (ring spot virus) повільно розповсюджувався по Пуні, основному регіону культивування папайї. Гонзалес вирішив стати на шляху руйнівної дії вірусу. Вже в 1992 році йому з колегами вдалось показати, що коли в папайю вбудувати ген, що кодує вірусну оболонку, то рослина набуває стійкості проти цього вірусу. Польові дослідження розпочали в квітні 1992 року. “

Останні 6 років врожай папайї знизився на половину. Індустрія папайї була на грані знищення. Але польові дослідження ГМ рослин показали разючу стійкість до вірусу: в той час, коли звичайні дерева папайї були вражені і майже безплідні, трансгенні рослини були здорові і повні фруктів. На той час вірусна інфекція папайї була великою проблемою папайного господарства в усьому світі, тому вчені і селекціонери багатьох країн негайно зацікавились досвідом Гонзалеса. В 1999 році трансгенна папайя вже проходила дослідження на Філіпінах, у В’єтнамі, на Тайвані, в Малайзії і в Таїланді. В Таїланді папайя друга по важливості культура після бананів, причому 80% споживається місцевими жителями.

Насьогодні на Гаваях вже культивується майже виключно ГМ папайя. Але не дивлячись на шалений успіх, зі сторони екологів з Global Justice Ecology Project лунає критика, що ГМ папайя створює економічну і екологічну загрозу для фермерів, що і надалі культивують звичайну папайю. Серед інших є також зауваження, що білок вірусної оболонки може спричиняти алергії, що можливе перепилення призведе до генетичного забруднення конвенційних сортів, а також, шо ГМ папайя більш сприйнятлива до інших хвороб.

Але досі не існує жодного доказу підвищеної алергенності. Також нема жодного доказу, що ГМ папайя більш сприйнятлива до інших хвороб. Чи можливе перепилення з конвенційними сортами папайї? Так, якщо вони ростуть поряд. Але дослідження показали, що 400 метрів відстані між полями з трансгенними і нетрансгенними рослинами достатньо, щоб подібного не траплялось взагалі.

Яка країна вирощує яку папайю визначається скоріше політично і економічно. Такі країни як Бразілія продовжують миритись з вірусом до тих пір, поки можуть вигідно продавати свою продукцію в Європу і Японію, де ГМ папайя заборонена. Натомість Мексика культивує переважно ГМ папайю, оскільки їхній ринок збуту США, що більш лояльний до генетично-модифікованих продуктів. Таїланд свого часу пав під натиском Грінпісу в 2004, але за умов наростаючої конкурентності Китаю очікується, що і таїландське керівництво згодом здасться.

Але повернемось до розшифрування геному папайї. Ним займались 85 науковців з США та Китаю. Для прочитки був обраний саме трансгенний сорт “SunUp” з декількох причин. Виявилось, що він найбільш генетично гомогенний, бо культивується протягом 10ти років і 25ти поколінь. Крім того, її геном відносно маленький, всього 9 хромосом (для порівняння геном пшениці кладається з 42 хромосом). І нарешті, папайя є далеким родичем того самого арабідопсису і вони обоє належать до родини хрестоцвітих, а шляхи розійшлись близько 72 мільони років тому.

Порівняння геному папайї і арабідопсису показало, що геном папайї містить 25000 генів, що менше значно менше, ніж у арабідопсиса (31000). На відміну від арабідопсису, геном папайї містить багато генів, що кодують білки, задіяні у біосинтезі лігніну. Їх майже стільки, скільки у геномі тополі – 37.

Крім того, вчені порівняли прочитані геноми всіх п’яти рослин і дійшли висновку, що мінімальний геном квіткової рослини має містити близько 13000 генів.

GM Foods: The U.S. Fights Mandatory Labeling in An Untested Human Experiment

The U.S. and several other nations recently attended a Codex meeting in Calgary, Canada to discuss food labeling. The Codex Alimentarius Commission implements the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Program, the purpose of which is to protect the health of consumers and to ensure fair practices in the food trade. The Codex Alimentarius (Latin, meaning Food Law or Code) is a collection of internationally adopted food standards presented in a uniform manner. One of the principle reasons for this forum was to discuss the necessity, or lack of necessity as the U.S. sees it, to set up mandatory labeling of GM (genetically modified) and GE (genetically engineered) foods for consumers. South Africa (SA) and many African countries are strong dissenting voices of the U.S. policy that all GM/GE foods are considered equal to non-GM/GE foods and are in fact deemed safe under a 1992 George H. W. Bush Executive Order.

Under this official policy, all GM/GE foods are not required to undergo any kind of safety testing before entering the market. Below you will find the exact policy of the FDA concerning GM food:
"FDA relies primarily on two sections of the Act to ensure the safety of foods and food ingredients. Generally, whole foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and grains, are not subject to premarket approval. The primary legal tool that FDA has successfully used to ensure the safety of foods is the adulteration provisions of section 402(a)(1). The Act places a legal duty on developers to ensure that the foods they present to consumers are safe and comply with all legal requirements. FDA has authority to remove a food from the market if it poses a risk to public health. Foods derived from new plant varieties developed through genetic engineering will be regulated under this authority as well" [1].

Hence, nearly every modified food in the U.S. is completely untested for safety. This is very noteworthy for two reasons: (a) the U.S. leads the world in GM/GE foods (with up to 80% of its prepared and prepackaged foods being modified); and (b) every other nation besides the U.S. tests all GM/GE food before they are put into the food chain. Several African nations have dubbed GM/GE foods as "lethal" and believes the U.S. is fulfilling a population reduction strategy in Africa.

During the CODEX meeting, SA, who has been demanding that Codex provide them with distinct and mandatory GM/GE labels, presented a 10-page document expressing this view. In this document the following critical points were made:

1. Unmet Religious and Ethical Concerns of Christians and Jews

a. Corruption of Divine Protection

South Africa pointed out that in nearly every country there are various religious groups with differing beliefs when it comes to ingesting certain foods. South Africa stated that these "religious and ethical concerns must be noted and respected through global mandatory labeling of foods derived from genetic engineering and biotechnology must take into account ethical and religious concerns" [2] (CCFL, 2008, p. 1). For example, kosher Jews and Halal Muslims would wish to know whether the corn they were eating had been modified with a gene from pigs. Similarly, vegetarians would certainly wish to avoid vegetables which contained animal genes inserted into them and have an ethical right to know if this was the case.

B. Moral and Ethical Protection

SA contends that Codex and the WTO (World Trade Organization) assure protection of the moral, ethical and religious rights of Christian and Jewish believers. Therefore, mandatory labeling is essential to ensure these rights are preserved. If, for example, a Christian believed that God created the heaven and earth as well as all living creatures (including food), then a serious ethical concern would arise if he or she wanted to avoid such modified foods but had no realistic way to do so.

2. Unintended Consumer Health Effects

a. Psychological and Emotional Health

SA rightfully argued that the introduction of GM/GE foods violate the principles and mandates of Codex which are in place to protect the health of the consumer. In Norway, a report on GM/GE foods stated that, "some customers may experience strong ethical, religious, emotional or other objections for purchasing certain foods. These perceived risks may influence their health. These aspects of health should also be considered when the needs for new standards are discussed"[2]. Hence, the labeling of GM/GE foods should be mandatory under such an assumption.

B. Unknown Effects of Consumption of GM/GE Biotech Foods

Due to the lack of testing on GM/GE foods, safety is a significant concern for many individuals. These individuals may wish to avoid such food out of legitimate concern for their well-being. Antibiotic-resistant super diseases may be created if the antibiotic gene inserted into most GM foods would transfer into the consumer. Furthermore, some concerning results have been evinced from animals consuming GM/GE foods. GM DNA has been found in every organ (including fetuses) of animals eating these types of food. Additionally, numerous studies have shown many deleterious short and long-term effects from the consumption of GM/GE foods. For example, spermicide-containing corn, which was developed with funds from the USDA, and results in complete sterility in males has been rampant in the food chain for some time. Without proper labeling of these types of foods, there is no way to protect the fertility of males. Several other recent studies are detailed below:

* In 2005 and 2006, researchers at the Russian Academy of Sciences reported that female rats who were fed glyphosate-tolerant GM soya produced an excessive number of stunted pups with over 50% of them dying within three weeks. The other half were all sterile. This experiment was repeated several times with the same result [3].

* Between 2005 and 2006 in the Warangal district of Andhra Pradech in India, thousands of sheep died while grazing on residues from Bt (Bacillus thuringiensis, which is a type of bacteria which is toxic to some types of insects) cotton crops [4].

* In 2003, villagers in the Philippines' south suffered mysterious illnesses when a Monsanto Bt maize hybrid came into flower. At least five have died and many villagers tested positive for antibodies to the Bt protein while others still remain chronically ill [5].

* Between 2001 and 2002, 12 cows died in Hesse, Germany after consuming Syngenta GM maize (Bt176), while many others had to be slaughtered due to mysterious illnesses [6].

* From 2002 to 2005, researchers from four Italian universities published articles indicating that GM soya adversely affected pancreatic, hepatic (liver) and testicular cells in young mice [5].

* In 2005, Australian researchers at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization in Canberra reported that a harmless protein in beans (alpha-amylase inhibitor-1) caused inflammation in the lungs of mice and elicited increased dietary sensitivities to other proteins when transferred to peas [7].

* In 1998, researchers reported damage to every organ system of young rats who were fed GM potatoes containing snowdrop lectin [8]. In the same year, researchers in Egypt found analogous effects on the guts of mice fed Bt potato [9].

* In 2002, Aventis, later named Cropscience, submitted research to regulators in the U.K. reporting that chicken fed glufosinate-tolerant GM maize Chardon LL were twice as likely to die prematurely than chickens in the control group [10].

C. Nutrient Non-Equivalence

SA contend that plants genetically modified may not be nutritionally equivalent, bio-available and can possibly possess toxic anti-nutrients [11]. There is no nutritional information for such foods, which raises the possibility that the modified nutrient could be toxic. Different and modified forms of nutrients may be present, which may make these foods unsafe. South Africa concluded that the risks from GM/GE food fall outside the realm of non-modified food and therefore, require strict labels.

D. Post Market Surveillance Impossible Without Labeling

Safety concerns are never over once food reaches consumers. For example, The National Institutes of Science in the U.S. reported in June of 2004 that workers processing GM celery contracted severe rashes, especially when exposed to direct sunlight. Labeling would allow handlers and consumers to become cognizant of potential risks involved with eating and processing such types of foods. Based on the principles of Codex, SA stated that it would be inconsistent and dangerous to adopt anything other than mandatory labeling of GM/GE foods. Furthermore, the absence of adequate labeling of GM/GE foods essentially equates to human experimentation without informed consent. According to Nuremberg Code,

"The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. This means that the person involved should have legal capacity to give consent; should be so situated as to be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, over-reaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved... All inconveniences and hazards reasonably to be expected; and the effects upon his health or person, which may possibly come from his participation in the experiment" [12]. According to SA, mandatory labeling will allow implied informed consent, which will allow consumers to opt in and out of the experiment if they choose to do so.

After SA had submitted their highly researched rationale behind the mandatory labeling of GM/GE foods, the U.S. and its allies (e.g., Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia) jumped all over them and stated that extensive research clearly supports that GM/GE foods are safe, therefore, no labeling is necessary. This is obviously not the case (as presented by SA) and delineates the inter-meshed interests and historical marriage between U.S. and large food corporations (i.e., Monsanto, who produces up to 90% of GM/GE seeds and foods). Following the overwhelming condemnation of SA's paper from the U.S. and the extra procedural requirements the U.S. pushed for because of these comments, the SA government had it subsequently withdrawn.

As a result of this development and the constant battles with the corporations of the U.S. and their biased agendas, SA called another meeting and declared they would circumvent Codex and create their own labeling system with or without their agreement. Countries like Swaziland, Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Cameroon, Sudan, Nigeria, South Africa and several other African countries with Japan, EU, Switzerland, Norway and many other countries stated their commitments to the mandatory labeling.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to eliminate all previous labeling documents and keep the door open for the future possibility of international labeling of GM/GE foods at a later date, which was strongly opposed by the U.S.

This month's dissident is Percy Schmeiser, a Saskatchewan farmer who has been battling Monsanto for a decade in the courts. The story is your typical he said / she said affair where "he" is your buddy you crack the odd beer with by the barbeque of a sunny afternoon, and "she" is an evil, incomprehensible, pitiless alien race bent on world domination. Like the Dalek.

To sum it up from a shamelessly leftist perspective, here's the skinny:

Percy Schmeiser was sitting around minding his own business when all of a sudden Monsanto descended into his life and sued him for $15,000 worth of license fees for growing their GM canola. Alien gene-police had invaded his farm, stolen a bunch of his crop, tested it back at the space ship and proved a point that human farmers have been harping on about for decades: that GMO crops can not be contained. In other words, one space crop unavoidably contaminates the earth crops for miles around.

Percy is a seed collector, as human farmers tend to be. Monsanto, using their merciless alien logic, argued, basically, "It makes no difference if he bought the seeds, or stole them or they blew in on the wind, or even if we snuck in there and planted them ourselves. The human farmer must pay. Ha. Ha. Ha. Haaaaaa." And they won.

Human farmers across Canada were understandably dismayed, as this ruling established a precedent by which no human law could protect them from be coerced against their will into an expensive licensing agreement with the invading aliens for the right to accidentally grow their worrying alien food, which studies indicate may not be fit for human consumption. [1, 2, 3]

Percy Schmeiser appealed his way all the way to Canada's Supreme Court, where he won a so-so victory for himself without actually accomplishing anything of legal significance. The judge, in a stunning feat of ineffectual diplomacy, ruled the Schmeisers would not have to pay the fees, but that Monsanto still owned the patent on the Schmeiser's crops. Thus was one human farmer liberated from the odious clutches of the alien race, but only one, and only somewhat. Percy has to monitor his own crops to make sure they are not contaminated while the aliens maintain the legal authority to strong-arm less stubborn and ethical humans into submission.

In a typically undramatic Canadian ending, Percy finally took the Monsanto-ians to small claims court for six hundred bucks, a fee which he had to pay contractors to remove the contaminated crops after Monsanto refused to do it - unless he signed a confidentiality agreement.

THAT victory could go places, in my humble opinion. It doesn't sound like much, does it? 600 bucks? But it's an exploitable chink in the plating of Monsanto's intergalactic hull. Now, at least in Saskatchewan, a precedent has been set that if alien spores blow into your garden it is the aliens who are financially responsible for removing the resulting abominations from your food supply, not you. And they can't bill you for being an unwilling host to their parasitic alien appetites. So Percy Schmeiser accomplished a lot in the end, at least as far as subverting the GM industry's goal of global control of the human food supply is concerned.

Through my research I have found many pros and cons of genetically modified foods. A definite plus is the fact that some grains can be made resistant to pesticides and more resilient to drought. However a major con is not knowing the long-term affects on humans from consuming genetically modified organisms. Another con is that currently, manufacturers of gm foods are not required to put labels on their products to give the people a choice as to whether they would like to eat something that has been modified.

I understand that countries like Zambia and Uganda are looking into this practice, simply because they seem to have no alternative to feeding their people. So I suppose it would be easy for us Westerners to throw up our arms and say "we tried". But that's not enough for me and as people sharing this earth we should never tire to help our neighbors.

On March 11 a new documentary was aired on French television (ARTE -- French-German cultural tv channel) by French journalist and film maker Marie-Monique Robin, The World According to Monsanto - A documentary that Americans won't ever see. The gigantic biotech corporation Monsanto is threatening to destroy the agricultural biodiversity which has served mankind for thousands of years.

Gmo food creates some wrong bi-products.

In India women mostly take care of the seed after each years crop, for the next years crop.

Recently corporations that owned the rights to GMO seed moved in and convinced many small farmers to use their seed rather than traditional forms of production. Once a farm changes to GMO- its not possible to change back, or at least very difficult. GMO food yields are higher, yet the seed does not reproduce a fertile seed. This means that the farmer has to buy the seed for the next years crop from the corporation that owns the rights. From what i heard the prices for GMO seed went up from what it was originally sold to the farmer at (a lot), the result was that farmers were not able turn back to their old way of farming, nor could many working with the old way of farming compete with the higher yields of the GMO production.

Things got so bad for many farmers in parts of India that many of the men committed suicide, leaving the women to look after the children and the farm.

This on top of that: Now due to the high demand for bio fuel many farmers are creating food that could be eaten, yet shall be converted into fuel to drive cars.

What is the future going to be, how many meals of food per KM of driving, what of the future inequalities. What of the rain forests being chopped down to provide bio fuel. What of the rain forests that don't exist in Europe due to the meat industry. Let the poor grow the developed worlds food and energy while they watch in starvation. Part of this information came via someone else that went to a lecture of Bandana Shiva and told me about it.

The only thing the developed world exports back to these developing places looks to be its media and brands. Is'nt that at least a little bit like 1984.

Nun zeichne ich einen weiten Bogen, der zunächst überraschend scheinen mag. Letztendlich wird sich jedoch die unselige Folgerichtigkeit, aus der sich dieser Bogen der Geschichte mit seinen grauenerregenden Aktivitäten selbst gespannt hat, nur zu klar sein.

Wir wenden uns einem Ereignis zu, dessen Bedeutungseinbettung sich nicht unmittelbar erschließt. Ich fand jedoch, daß die Meldung interessante Empfindungen hervorruft, feine kleine Fragezeichen sozusagen.

Svalbard Global Seed Vault - inoffiziell "Doomsday Vault" ("Tresor des Jüngsten Gerichts") genannt

Am 26. Februar diesen Jahres wurde im hohen Norden Norwegens auf der arktischen Insel Spitzbergen ein von langer Hand geplantes Projekt, im Verhältnis zu seiner Bedeutung, doch recht sang- und klanglos – wie heißt es so schön – seiner Bestimmung übergeben. Ja, wenn das so einfach wäre...

Kaum der fast viermonatigen Polarnacht entronnen, die auf dieser Forschungsinsel des zu Norwegen gehörenden arktischen Svalbard-Archipels herrscht, wurde im kleinen erlauchten Kreis von dick in ihre Anoraks eingepackten internationalen Politikern und ausgesuchten Journalisten ein Haus eröffnet. Kein normales Haus, keine Schule, kein Kindergarten, kein Gemeindehaus, kein neuer Flugplatz, nein, es handelt sich um ein ganz besonderes Haus, das auf dieser einsamen Insel gebaut wurde. Es wird nicht viele Menschen anziehen, wie es Häuser sonst tun. Denn es ist unterirdisch und soll langfristig ohne Personal auskommen und sozusagen ferngewartet werden. Nun ja, es ist eben nur ein Lagerhaus, allerdings auch kein gewöhnliches. Denn es liegt ja nicht nur im Ewigen Eis (wie lange wohl ist ewig noch ewig?), sondern auch noch unterirdisch.

Und die Lagerware in diesem Bunker? Es handelt sich um Pflanzensamen aus aller Welt. Obwohl schon an vielen Orten der Welt große Pflanzensamenbanken existieren, sollte hier ein Art gesamte Arche Noah für die Pflanzen der Erde entstehen, ein großes internationales Projekt mit dem finalen Zweck der Rettung der Menschheit im Eventualfall einer weltumspannenden Katastrophe.

Für diesen Fall der Fälle soll die Grundlage der Menschheitsernährung gesichert werden, indem von allen Nutzpflanzen, zum allergrößten Teil jedoch von Nahrungspflanzen, Samen konserviert werden, z.B. die Samen von 10.000 Sorten Reis.

Ein gigantomanischer Panzerschrank im Eis als moderne Arche Noah

Der bunkerähnliche Bau ragt 120 Meter in einen alten Kohleschacht und ist so mit zwei Meter dickem Stahlbeton gepanzert, daß er sowohl einen Flugzeugabsturz, als auch auch einen Atomkrieg unbeschadet überstehen soll. Die tiefgefrorenen Samen werden kontinuierlich auf einer Temperatur von -18° C gehalten. Sollte die Kühlung jemals ausfallen, so springt der Permafrost ein und verhindert ein Auftauen. Manche Samen sollen auf diese Weise 10.000 Jahre ihre Keimkraft behalten. Samen, die früher den Geist aufgeben, werden rechtzeitig ausgetauscht. (Medienbericht zur Projekteröffnung z.B. hier.)

Sein und Schein – Vom ewigen Mäntelchen des Guten – oder auch: Vom Wolf im Schafspelz

Soweit das Konzept. Es muß sich schon um ein sehr großes Grauen handeln, für das hier vorausgeplant wird, wenn man davon ausgeht, daß im Erlebnisfall nirgendwo auf der Erde noch brauchbare Samen für Nahrungspflanzen existieren werden.

Gleich hier muß ich nachhaken. Solche Dinge fallen mir einfach auf. Weshalb werden nur Nutzpflanzen, vornehmlich Nahrungspflanzen bewahrt? Und wenn es nach einer Katastrophe keine Pflanzensamen mehr gibt, wie soll man sich den Zustand des Bodens vorstellen, in den man diese Samen wieder einpflanzen soll, und wie gesund die überlebenden Menschen, die von diesen dann ernährt werden sollen? Wie hat man sich eine Katastrophe vorzustellen, für die dieses Vorgehen einen Sinn erkennen läßt? Das stimmt doch leicht nachdenklich. Und was sagt überhaupt das Horoskop dazu?

Wir können ja ganz unbefangen das Horoskop zu Rate ziehen. Denn obschon die Häuserverteilung in so extremen Breiten etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig erscheint, kann es doch Aufschluß geben.

Svalbard Global Seed Vault, feierliche Eröffnung am 26.02.2008, 10:30h MEZ

Der Zeitpunkt ist der geplante Beginn der feierlichen Eröffnungszeremonie, demzufolge die Gäste in den Tunnel gehen und Samenproben an das Personal übergeben. Die Schlüsselübergabe an den norwegischen Präsidenten war dann für 10:54h geplant. Es gibt keinen Grund, anzunehmen, daß der penible Zeitplan nicht eingehalten wurde.

Der Sonnenverbund reicht vom I. über den IV. bis in den III. Quadranten. Mit Fische-Wassermann-Steinbock geht es dabei durchaus um Prinzipielles und Zeitloses. Bei diesem Verbund mit der Quadrantenlage I-IV geht es eigentlich immer um das hinter der Erscheinung stehende, das Hintergründige der Erscheinungsformen. Das kann man hier sowohl wörtlich als auch im übertragenen Sinne verstehen.

Thema ist das zeitlose Prinzip der Erscheinung, und zwar genauer gesagt, um den Hintergrund des Ursprungs der Erscheinung. Uranus steht nämlich in den Fischen in Haus 1. Uranus als konkrete Erscheinung ist auch der Same. Es geht also um eine Rückführung der Erscheinung in ihre Potentialität. Sie sind nicht auf die Erde gefallen und sind nicht, je nach ihrer Bestimmung entweder auf fruchtbaren Boden gefallen und aufgegangen, oder vom Winde ohne Aussicht auf Entfaltung verweht verrottet und wieder zu Erde geworden. Nein, sie gelangen in die Verborgenheit des 12. Hauses, warten tiefgefroren in einem gigantischen dunklen Eisschrank auf eine künftige Entfaltung ihrer Potentialität.

Neptun in 11 ist noch ganz zuversichtlich, daß ein neuer Ursprung nach dem Prinzip in einer Zukunft bevorsteht. Doch der Spiegelpunkt zum Mond stellt Bedingungen. Das Wachstum ins Leben, das der Mond für das Prinzip des Neptuns übernehmen soll, ist nur als Skorpion-Plan in Haus 8 vorhanden. Dort verweilt der Mond außerhalb der Gegenwart, das Potential ist Plan geworden, der Ursprung hat keine Gegenwart gefunden und weilt solange als potentielles Leben von tiefgefrorenen Genen in tiefgefrorenen Samen im Hades. Mond oder Krebs in 8 hat oft mit Fragen der Gene zu tun. Im 8. Haus liegt der Plan für die kommenden Gegenwarten des Lebendigen. Mit Mond ist auch die Beziehung zur Nahrung hergestellt.

Die Sonne-Saturn-Opposition von den Fischen in 1 zur Jungfrau in 7 spricht vom Zeitgeist, der das zeitlose Prinzip nutzbar machen will.

Wassermann beherrscht den gesamten Weg von Haus 12, durch die Häuser 11 und 10 bis ins 9. Haus und sein Planet Uranus steht selbst wieder im 1. Haus. Die Potentialität des neuen Ursprungs als Plan für die Zukunft wird im 1. Haus konkret als Samen eingefroren.

Mit diesem Schritt hat Uranus den Weg zu Saturn natürlich verloren. Die untere Ausübung der gestörten Uranus-Saturn-Werdung leuchtet uns am MC als Merkur-Venus entgegen. Die Gegenwart des Ursprünglichen ist in dieser Durchführung aufgehoben und stellt zugleich die Finalität dar. Im 10. Haus wird aus dem Ursprung des Prinzips die Grenze der Gestalt bestimmt.

Das Horoskop zeigt meines Erachtens, daß das Ursprüngliche seine Gestalt bereits nicht mehr in ihrer ursprünglichen Form hat. Das scheint im ersten Moment nicht plausibel, da es ja noch in genetischer Form vorliegt und ja gerade konserviert werden soll. Doch erkennt man beim Nachdenken, daß die Gestalten von ganzen Gattungen tatsächlich bereits verändert ist, vielleicht nicht die potentielle Gestalt der dort lagernden Samenkörner, aber doch die vieler auf der Erde wachsender Gattungen. Wodurch? Durch Züchtung, Kreuzungen und genetische Manipulation!

Jetzt erahnen wir, daß wir immer noch derselben Story folgen, deren Faden wir in DeKalb aufgenommen haben. Nun ist auch vollkommen einsichtig, weshalb diese Merkur-Venus-Konjunktion auf 10°Wassermann (Sonne-Pluto) liegt. Der verlorene Weg vom Ursprung zur Bestimmung der Gestalt beruht auf Sonne-Pluto. Die Vorstellung und planvolle Machtausübung dominiert das Leben und stört die Gestaltwerdung des ursprünglich Vorgesehenen.

Auch Mond-Venus läßt wissen, daß durch diese einfallsreiche Erfindung (Ju-Ur als Ausgangsproblem) die fehlende Bestimmung konkret wird. Samen sind nun mal nicht dazu bestimmt, tiefgefroren in einem Bunker tief unter der Erde zu liegen und nicht nach der vorgesehenen Wartezeit zu keimen.

Der Himmel hat es sich gefallen lassen, daß die Menschen zum Ackerbau übergegangen sind, und die Saat nicht mehr dem Wind des Uranus nacheilt, um ihre Bestimmung zu finden, sondern gehortet und dann nach Menschenplan ausgesät wird. Doch wurden hierbei nicht die Grenzen der Gattungsgestalt überschritten, denn auf diese Weise sind Samen nur solange lebensfähig, wie es ihre Gestalt zuläßt.

Tiefgefrorenes führt uns am Ursprung vorbei, der Himmel muß sich jedes Mal etwas ausdenken, um die Schöpfung wieder in ein Gleichgewicht zu bringen. Was stellt die tiefgefrorene Nahrung mit der Zeit an? Hortet sie diese? Verlieren wir gar Zeit, wenn wir Tiefgefrorenes essen? Eine Zeit ohne Geschehen ist Verdrängtes und kommt normalerweise als Verneinung wieder in die Zeit. Verursachen wir mit unserer Tiefkühlkost gar Naturkatastrophen? Man kann ob solcher Fragen spekulieren, spintisieren. Sie sind hier nicht ganz ernst gemeint. Dennoch, so absurd, wie sei scheinen, sind die Gedanken allemal nicht.

Das Ergebnis des Steinbocks beinhaltet Jupiter, der im 9. Haus diese Bestimmungslosigkeit international und äußerst großzügig zusammenfügt. Jupiter-like gab der größte Spender 25 Millionen Euro für die Konservierung von 2,25 Milliarden Samen von 4,5 Millionen Spezies aus aller Welt.

Der Clou im Ergebnis ist jedoch Pluto auf 0°Steinbock mit seiner scharfen Opposition zu Mars. Mit Pluto auf 0°Steinbock geht es unter anderem um die gespeicherte Gattungsgestalt, das habe ich bereits früher gesagt. Hier findet die endgültige Unterwerfung des Himmels statt, indem das Geschenk des Ursprungs in die Zeit zugunsten der Verfolgung anderer Ziele verworfen wird. Da diese scheinbare Unterwerfung des Himmels nur illusionär sein kann, werden seine Kreaturen unterworfen, Mensch, Tier, Pflanze, Mineral. Das gesamte Angesicht der Erde untersteht dem Gegenwillen. Es ist eine Kriegskonstellation. Sie wird das hervorrufen, dessen Folgen sie vorgeblich abmildern soll. Kriegstreiber sind es, die dieses scheinbar vornehme und edle Unterfangen geplant und durchgeführt haben.

Die Zusammenhänge, die es dazu zu erfahren gibt, haben mir erneut einen Schock versetzt. So herrlich die Schöpfung ist, so gemein sind ihre Kreaturen, die sich als Krone der Schöpfung bezeichnen. Die edlen Spender und ihre Motive

Meine unbedingte Empfehlung an dieser Stelle: ein äußerst erhellender Artikel von F. William Engdahl, hier in seiner deutschen Version. Die englische Originalversion "Doomsday Seed Vault" in the Arctic - Bill Gates, Rockefeller and the GMO giants know something we don’t ist ebenfalls online verfügbar.

Ich hielte es für sehr sinnvoll, den Artikel jetzt zu lesen, da er für das Verständnis der von mir beschriebenen Zusammenhänge äußerst hilfreich ist und ich keinen Sinn darin erkennen kann, die Recherche eines anderen nachzuerzählen. Diese fünfzehn Seiten eröffnen einen Blickwinkel, der von jeder offiziellen Presse systematisch durch Unterdrückung ausgeklammert wird. Er enthält sehr interessante Informationen über die Beteiligung an diesem Samenbankprojekt, insbesondere über die Verflechtung von Personen, Organisationen und Verbänden, die, ihren edlen Namensgebungen spottend, schon früher sehr erfolgreich als Hauptakteure an der Unterwerfung der Dritten Welt gearbeitet haben. Die Verflechtung der Beteiligten läßt über deren strategische Projekte in der Vergangenheit durchaus Rückschlüsse auf mögliche tatsächliche Motive - jenseits der philantropischen Mäntelchen - für dieses seltsame Projekt zu.

Die Informationen sind oft erschütternd. Es ist sicherlich ungeheuerlich, von Eugenikprogrammen zu erfahren, die von den reichsten Clans dieser Welt völlig unbehelligt verfolgt werden, um sich langfristig ungewollter Rassen zu entledigen. Die Methoden dafür reichen von in der Vergangenheit bereits angewandten haarsträubenden abortionsfördernden Impfungen für Frauen in Entwicklungsländern, natürlich ohne deren Wissen, bis hin zu bereits vorhandenen Patenten von GMOs (zur Erinnerung: Genetically Modified Organisms, = Genetisch veränderte Organismen), die in der Lage sind, beliebige Gesellschaften oder Rassen, gegebenenfalls natürlich auch ohne deren Wissen, über die Ernährung unfruchtbar zu machen. Dies ist wie gesagt nicht Science Fiction, sondern Realität der Jetztzeit.

Da scheint die einfache Methode der Kontrolle über die Nahrung mittels Erzeugung vollständiger Abhängigkeit infolge saatbegrenzender Hybride und der Terminator-Technologie vergleichsweise simpel und nicht sehr subtil. Die Erpressungsmöglichkeiten einiger weniger Großkonzerne und der ihnen zugehörigen Regierungen sind durch die Entwicklungen, die heute schon einsatzfähig sind, und die, die sich noch in Entwicklung und Planung befinden, nahezu unbegrenzt. Wenn diese Machtkonglomerate erst alle Kontinente in ihre Abhängigkeit gebracht haben werden - in Afrika ist dieser Prozeß in einer zweiten Welle nach der früheren „Grünen Revolution“ gerade voll im Gange - dann wird es auch ein Leichtes sein, jedes Volk, jedes Regime in die Knie zu zwingen. Wenn die Bereitschaft zu mißbräuchlicher und skrupelloser Anwendung der Macht über die Nahrung eines Staates oder einer Region vorhanden ist, wird es keine Probleme bereiten, jeden willfährig machen. Das Erpressungspotential steht dem von Nuklearwaffen in nichts nach, ist vielleicht sogar noch effektiver. Und die alten und neuen Eugeniker träumen sicherlich davon, solche Möglichkeiten endlich zum Zwecke der Reduzierung der Menschheit einsetzen zu können. Es bedarf sicherlich keiner großen Spekulation, um zu wissen, welche Staaten und welche Rasse in diesem Konzept übrig bleiben und die Welt nach ihren Vorstellungen neu ordnen sollen. Und schließlich lassen die entwickelten GMOs auch jede Option für biologische Kriegsführung. An Begründungen und Rechtfertigungen würde es bei solchem Machtmißbrauch nicht mangeln. Wir erleben ja seit vielen Jahren eine rüde und zynische Lektion durch die praktische Demonstration, wie man sich die Umsetzung der „Neuen Weltordnung“ in die Tat in etwa vorzustellen hat.

Die „Vier Reiter der Apokalypse“, wie die vier Saatgutgiganten und ihre Hintermänner, welche die Nahrungsmittelindustrie der Welt unter sich aufteilen, schon genannt wurden, werden dann alle Optionen haben. Sie arbeiten seit vielen Jahrzehnten hart, zielbewußt und unbeirrt an der effektiven Planung und Umsetzung ihrer von langer Hand angelegten Strategie, diesen Zustand in erschreckend naher Zukunft zu erreichen. Sie tun dies nahezu unbehelligt, denn es ist nichts und niemand in Sicht, der sie davon abhalten könnte.

Leider sind diese Zusammenhänge keine Glaubensfrage. Wer sich informiert, wird schnell darob erschrecken, daß die Realität des Faktischen die schrecklichsten Vorstellungen bereits weit übertrifft. Ich jedenfalls habe diese Informationen nicht gesucht, sondern sie beim Verfolgen eines gewissen (auch astrologischen) Gespürs vom Wegesrand aufgesammelt. Es macht mir durchaus keine Freude, mich mit einem Monster wie Monsanto zu beschäftigen, dennoch stolpere ich immer wieder darüber. Es muß wohl Pluto auf 0°Steinbock sein, der dieser Thematik höchste Brisanz verleiht. Wenn es wie bei Pluto auf 0°Steinbock unter anderem um die Vererbung der Gattungsgestalt geht, dann ist eben Gentechnik oder Biogenetik, wie sie beschönigend auch heißt, der zeitgemäße Ausdruck. Die Menschheit über die Nahrungsmittelindustrie von Saatgut über Tier- und Nutzpflanzenpatente bis zur Monopolisierung der Trinkwasserressourcen zu beherrschen, ist der derzeit wohl perfideste und effektivste Plan zur Machthabe über die Welt. Dagegen nimmt sich die zweite große Spielwiese derer, die angetreten sind, die Welt zu beherrschen, der Energiepoker nämlich, vergleichsweise harmlos aus, obwohl auch hier die Macht über Ressourcen Macht über Menschen, Regierungen, Länder bedeutet. Da dies aber schon vor langer Zeit gelungen ist, widmet man sich schon bereits seit Jahrzehnten der neuen Herausforderung des folgerichtigen nächsten Schritts. Was die Sprache verrät

Und hier kommt der Svalbard Global Seed Vault ins Spiel, in der nicht-offiziellen Sprache „Doomsday Vault“, also „Tresor des jüngsten Gerichts“ genannt. „Vault“ bezeichnet sowohl einen Tresor(raum) als auch jedwede Gewölbe und Höhlen. Hier drückt sich Pluto in einer keine Wünsche offen lassenden Deutlichkeit sprachlich aus. Wir sind in seiner Unterwelt, in jeder Beziehung: real unter der Erde und mit gespeicherter Gattungsinformation, die jeder Gegenwart entbunden ist.

Es kommt jedoch noch besser. „Doomsday“ bezeichnet den „Tag des Jüngsten Gerichts“. Und “doomsday weapons“ ist der Ausdruck für - Massenvernichtungswaffen! Wir können also „Doomsday Vault“ auch als unterirdischen Tresor für Massenvernichtungswaffen übersetzen !

Auf diese Weise kommt man der Wahrheit wahrscheinlich recht nahe. Denn wie Engdahl schreibt, es gibt bereits viele gut gesicherte Samenbanken auf der Welt. Dieses spezielle Projekt scheint eher der Privatbunker einiger Multinationaler Konzerne und ihrer Stiftungen zu sein, um die gesamte Reichhaltigkeit der Nutzpflanzengenetik uneingeschränkt und unkontrolliert jederzeit zur Verfügung zu haben. Damit läßt sich in den Augen der Betreiber sicherlich alles genetisch programmieren, was vorstellbar und gewünscht ist. Der Blickwinkel dieser Menschen sieht genetische Programmierung sicherlich analog zur Programmierung von Computern. Mit Bewahrung der Schöpfung und ihrer Gestalten, oder gar Ehrfurcht davor, hat dieses Projekt sicherlich nicht das Geringste zu tun. Der hier gesicherte Genpool ist ein reichhaltiger Topf für alle Genwissenschaftler und eine einzigartige wenn auch teuflische Spielwiese, die viele Optionen bietet, von der Pervertierung von Organismen für alle möglichen umsatzträchtigen Zwecke bis hin zur Erpressung, wenn der Rest der Welt über kein funktionierendes Genmaterial mehr verfügt, sei es über die oben beschriebene Weltkontrolle des Saatguts mithilfe von Hybriden und Terminator-Saatgut, oder sei es nach einem biologisch geführten Weltkrieg. Wer glaubt, solche Ideen seien weit hergeholt, hat weder die Geschichte der Weltkriege noch die der Gegenwart verstanden. Leider.

Ein Student läuft an der Northern Illinois University Amok

Nun sind wir schon bei Monsanto angelangt, eigentlich führt der direkte Weg nun nach Svalbard. Ich will aber noch etwas nachholen: was hat das Massaker an der Northern Illinois University (NIU) damit zu tun, das der Ausgangspunkt meiner Überlegungen war?

Unmittelbar fällt die Mars-Pluto Betonung auf. Neben dem Aszendenten auf 28°Krebs (Mars-Pluto) sticht die Opposition hervor, mit Mars an der Spitze des 12. Hauses. Das Grauen kommt unerwartet aus dem Nichts. Die Erscheinung des Verdrängten bezieht sich auf das 5. Haus des lebendigen Geschehens, das durch Vorstellungswelten dominiert wird und zum Zwang der Bedingungen wird.

Mit Pluto auf 0°Steinbock drängt sich mir der Verdacht auf, daß es hier tatsächlich um das Verdrängte geht, das aus der zweckorientierten Manipulation von Gattungsgestalten ersteht, für die diese Stadt mit ihrer lange währenden Konzentration auf die Veränderung von Saatgut steht. In diesem Zusammenhang erscheint es interessant, daß die DeKalb Genetics Corporation ihren Firmensitz tatsächlich immer noch in der Stadt DeKalb hat, die im übrigen auch die NIU beherbergt. Die Sonne-Neptun-Konjunktion im 8. Haus spricht diesbezüglich Bände. Darin drückt sich meines Erachtens eine pervertierte Konkurrenz von genetisch veränderten Lebewesen mit den vom Himmel entlassenen Gattungsgestalten aus.

Selbstverständlich passen diese Aspekte, Sonne-Neptun und Mars-Pluto zur uns bereits bekannten Disposition der Stadt und der des Barons, ihrem Namensgeber. Und ebenso selbstverständlich passen sie sicherlich zur Disposition des ausführenden Studenten Steven Kasmierczak, der fünf Menschen tötete, achtzehn Menschen verletzte und sich dann selbst erschoß. Wir kennen seine Lebensgeschichte zu wenig, um seinen Nachvollzug der Konstellationen in Bezug auf seine Biographie nachzeichnen zu können. Er war ein Vorzeigestudent mit besten Leistungen und sozial engagiert, ohne erkennbare Probleme, wenn auch eher ruhig und nicht sehr zugewandt, aber ausgesprochen hilfsbereit. Man weiß, daß er in seiner Pubertät vorübergehend verhaltensauffällig geworden war, und seine hilflosen Eltern ihn vorübergehend institutionell untergebracht hatten. Alles war lange her. Aktuell interessierte er sich speziell für die Probleme von Gefängnisinsassen mit mentalen Schwierigkeiten und den Strafvollzug allgemein. Er hatte sogar ein Gremium gegründet, das sich diesen Fragen widmete, und ein Praktikum in einer Strafvollzugsanstalt begonnen.

Dieser letzte Hinweis zeigt, daß Pluto-Saturn mit im Spiel war, die Verneinung der Gestalt. Wir sind über Umwege wieder bei 0°Steinbock und der von Menschenhand korrumpierten Gattungsgestalt angekommen. Der Kreis schließt sich. Mit Sicherheit hat ihn seine Situation und seine Anlage auf jeden Fall dafür prädestiniert, hier Erfüllungsgehilfe eines dunklen Schicksals zu werden. Der Ort selbst ist es jedoch, der die Aufladung mit dem Druck der Verdrängung als Basis für dieses Schreckensszenario liefert. Steven K. war sogar schon an einer weiterführenden Universität in einer anderen Stadt eingeschrieben und ist nach DeKalb zurückgekehrt, um diesem Sog nachzugeben und hier als Schwert des Neptuns zu fungieren. Er wurde im wahrsten Sinne zur Erscheinung des Bösen. Das Böse kann nur jemanden damit „betrauen“, der eine entsprechende Struktur und Empfindungs- und Erlebenswelt anbietet.

Die Universität in ihrer Affinität und Zeitqualität

Auch die Universität selbst entzieht sich nicht dieser Konstellationsgebundenheit des Ortes.

Es scheint, als könne nichts in dieser Stadt der Anziehung der Konstellationsfamilie von Neptun-Pluto oben, Sonne-Mars unten, den Sperren Mars-Neptun und Sonne-Pluto, sowie den Diagonalen Mars-Pluto und Sonne-Neptun entgehen. Die Stadt scheint wie ein gigantischer Magnet dafür zu wirken.

Auch in diesem Horoskop finden sich die entsprechenden Elemente von Mars-Neptun und Mars-Pluto, und damit auch vom enthüllenden Hintergrund Neptun-Pluto. Die Vorstellung von der Reinheit, die das Leben desavouiert. Im zehnten Haus bezieht sich diese Vorstellung durchaus auf die Gattungsgestalt. So verwundert es wahrlich nicht, daß die Berater des Farm Bureaus, bzw. seines Vorgängers, der Soil Improvement Association von dieser Universität kamen.

Das Planetenkonglomerat ist zusätzlich verbunden mit Venus-Neptun. Die Erde beherbergt keine Orte mit gewachsenen Gefügen mehr. Die Auflösung der Reviere zu kollektiver Gestalt- und Bestimmungslosigkeit kennen wir aus den Gründungshoroskopen der Soil Improvement Association und seines kommerziellen Ablegers, der DeKalb County Agricultural Association, die nichts anderes ist als die heutige DeKalb Genetics Corporation, Tochterunternehmen von Monsanto.

Der ebenfalls vorhandene Aspekt von Mond-Uranus verstärkt die Neptun-Pluto-Vorstellung von der Reinheit auf frappierende Weise. Auch ihn kennen wir nur zu gut aus den oben erwähnten Gründungshoroskopen. Wir denken beispielsweise an die Herstellung „reinen Samens“, mit dem uns jene Garanten für die Reinheit des Lebens auf diesem Planeten beglücken. Manchmal kann man erahnen, daß hinter den angeprangerten bewußten Geschäfts- und Machtinteressen der vielen Korrupten dieser Welt in Wirklichkeit viel größere, wahrhaft böse Informationsgeber ganz anderen Wesens stehen und entzückt ob der Verführbarkeit der Menschen direkt in ihr Herz flüstern.

Zum Zeitpunkt des Massakers an der Universität steht Saturn exakt auf dem Aszendenten der Universitätsgründung, im Aspekt zu Sonne-Pluto-Mars-Neptun des Gründungshoroskops! Der transitierende Uranus berührt im 7. Haus den Mondknoten und aspektiert ebenfalls Sonne-Pluto-Mars-Neptun. Damit wird die große Öffentlichkeit dieses Sonne-Pluto-Mars-Neptun-Geschehens gekennzeichnet. Der Zorn Poseidons peitscht seine Schüsse in dieses Revier.

Noch eine Kuriosität, um die Sache rund zu machen: Wenn man das Horoskop der Universitätsgründung über dasjenige des Barons von Kalb legt, so gibt es keinen Planeten, der ohne Berührung ist. Jupiter (-Merkur-Venus – an sich eine schöne Konstellation für eine Lehranstalt) steht genau auf Sonne (-Mars-Pluto) des Barons, wobei Merkur auch genau auf seiner Venus (-Pluto) steht. Somit ist diese Lehranstalt nicht mehr frei. Sie dient den Zwecken des Kollektivs und ist nicht unabhängig. Auch alle anderen Planeten bilden Aspekte. Hier kann man wahrlich sagen: Adel (und Name!) verpflichtet! Ob sich der Baron heute wohl fragt, wofür und wogegen er gekämpft und sein Leben gelassen hat? Vielleicht ist er darob weise geworden...

Ein Zwischenresumée

Bis hierher kann man aus dieser Vielzahl von Horoskopen und offensichtlichen Zusammenhängen wohl folgende Schlüsse ziehen:

1. Der Baron von Kalb lebte seine Sonne-Mars-Pluto-Venus-Anlage unter anderem als Generalmajor der amerikanischen Revolutionsarmee, die sich im Unabhängigkeitskrieg gegen die Kolonialmacht England erhob.

2. Der Ort DeKalb hat, in voller Übereinstimmung mit dem Horoskop seines Namensgebers Baron von Kalb, eine hohe Affinität zu Sonne-Mars-Pluto-Venus. Die Erscheinungsformen des Verdrängten (Mars als Erscheinung von Pluto) bezieht sich in erster Linie auf die Erde, auf Reviere, auf die Gesellschaft (Venus).

Das drückt sich eine Zeit lang in der Erfindung und dominanten industriellen Herstellung von Stacheldraht (Mars-Pluto) aus, der zum Abgrenzen von Revieren (Venus) dient.

Es drückt sich weiterhin in der Gründung des ersten Farm Bureaus aus, das den Namen DeKalb Soil Improvement Association trägt (Verbesserung! der Erde, des Bodens, der Fruchtbarkeit).

Später spiegelen sich Pluto-Venus und die Mars-Pluto zugrunde liegende Konstellation Neptun-Pluto in weiterer Zuspitzung in der Züchtung „besserer“, das heißt eertragreicherer Hybridpflanzen (Kreuzungen) und der Gewinnung „reinerer Samen“. Heute hat die Firma, die wie kaum eine andere für genetisch verändertes Saatgut steht (DeKalb Genetics Corp., Tochter von Monsanto) ihre Zentrale immer noch in DeKalb. Die ursprüngliche Gründung der Vorläuferunternehmens DeKalb County Agricultural Association bringt die Aspekte Mond-Uranus und Mars-Jupiter zusätzlich ins Spiel.

3. Die Universität in DeKalb (Northern Illinois University) teilt die Konstellationsaffinität der Stadt, in der sie steht, auf vollkommene Weise.

4. Das Massaker, das sich an dieser Universität ereignete, zeigt ebenfalls alle Kernkonstellationen. Somit kann man schließen, daß es nicht ohne die Grundlage der Schuld, die an diesem Ort angehäuft wurde, stattgefunden hätte. Es hätte einfach keine kritische Masse gegeben, die zu irgendeinem Zeitpunkt getriggert werden konnte. Die Schuld, d. h. das verdrängte Leben nach dem Willen des Himmels, dem die Menschen Geschehen und reale Existenz schuldig geblieben sind, denn nichts anderes bedeutet Schuld, ist im sichtbaren Bereich zunächst sicherlich die Vertreibung und Unterwerfung der ursprünglichen indianischen Bewohner des Landes. Hier hat auch die Revolutionsarmee des Barons keine rühmliche Rolle gespielt. Darauf häufen sich dann kompensatorische Erfindungen, von Stacheldraht bis zu den GMOs der Gentechnik, die letztlich auf die Unterwerfung der gesamten Welt über die Kontrolle der Nahrungsmittel und noch umfassender, auf die totale Kontrolle aller Lebewesen durch Genpatente und faktische Genkontrolle zielt.

Dies ist der Moment, endgültig in die Gegenwart und die zu erwartende Zukunft zu wechseln:
