As previously posted I've been given a new job opportunity.  Things are really falling into place with that and quicker than I thought they would.  I'm starting to believe it really is going to happen. This is a strange new territory.

My car (Tibby) is fixed and back in my possession.  My parents were at my door early this morning to exchange back cars.  Tibby has a new radiator and is VERY clean.  Apparently my mom drove it around some and felt "embarrassed" to be seen in it so she cleaned it. GOOD DEAL! I don't think its been this clean since I bought it.

I am considering getting the internet at home.  Scary I know.  (No Matt still no Guild Wars) I figure when I switch to mornings I'll have a lot of free afternoon time at home. I use the internet all afternoon here at work now... I'll prolly want it in the afternoon or evening there.  The only reason not getting it before was that I'd use it at work..which I still will but I'm thinking I'll want it at home. I dunno... still the beginning stages of that.

Nevertheless, in an effort to post more often, here I am, with no preconcieved notions about what I'm going to write.  I guess we'll both be surprised.

Let's see.  well, I'm still enjoying my new car.  I'm up to about 235 miles and I've already put my first scratch on it, which pisses me off to no end.  I was pulling into a parking lot with a particularly steep entryway and the bottom of my front bumper scraped.  It's hardly noticeable, but I know it's there and I see it every time i look at the car.  Doesn't make me enjoy the car any less, though, fortunately.  I've got a nice two-hour round trip tonight for a District Deputy visit in Hoosic Falls, and I'm looking forward to it.  By the way, I think I've finally decided on a good, Masonic name for the car.  She will hereafter be known as the U.S.S. Low Twelve.  Probably sounds stupid to non-Masons, but I think it sounds cool, with mildly sinister undertones.  Of course, if I'm naming my car after a starship in the first place, what the hell do i know about cool?

Speaking of my car, I know I got raped on it.  I spent a year and a half looking for a car.  I went to cars.com, I came up with a grading system and I evaluated every car within a thirty mile radius.  We looked at a couple but there weren't many that I really liked or that fit our limited budget.  It wasn't until my cousin, who we belatedly found out works for a car dealer, offered us a deal on a brand new car that we came to realize, if we were willing to stretch the payments from three years to seven, a new car really was within the realm of possibility.  We didn't take my cousin's deal because, once we'd made that realization, I went for the regatta blue Hyundai Elantra, which is what I've wanted since I started looking for a new car.  I chucked all my grading systems and went bull-headedly into the Hyundai dealership.  I didn't even care to dicker with them.  All dealers are usually willing to knock 10% off the price without a question - but I didn't bother to ask.  I paid the sticker price PLUS a whopping 16.99% interest rate.  And I'm glad to do it because I got the car I want.  I guess what I'm saying is I'm an idiot.  But I'm an idiot with a new car and when the rest of the financial system is collapsing around us, I'll take comfort in knowing that at least I'm doing my part to rebuild it.  To the tune of $390 a month.

Meanwhile, I'm getting better.  I'm not well, but at least I seem to have reconnected with the world around me.  I always hate that fuzzy, disconnected feeling I get, where I lose all awareness of space, time and dementia.  I think that's from the Nyquil.  I didn't have any television oriented dreams that I remember.  I did have one weird one where I was living in France (see, I told you it was weird - who'd want to do that).   There were two women, one I liked, one I didn't.  They were arguing over which one of their ancestors invented...something.  They each had a prototype, one called something like the "Smith-Jones" whirlygig and the other was the "Jones-Smith" whirlygig.  All I remember is they were identical, except for the name on front.  I don't know why I was supposed to be the final arbitrator in the matter, but I wanted to vote in favor of the woman I liked, but I didn't think that was right.  And, when I woke up, my pillow was gone.  Weird.

Despite not being completely up to snuff, I traveled to Long Island this past weekend for the Homecoming reception for the immediate past Grand Master of Masons in New York State, Most Worshipful Neal I. Bidnick.  It was a bittersweet occasion.  it was nice seeing him and his whole team reunited for one last hoorah, but it was also a poignant reminder that, after two years of working so hard to actually move the Grand Lodge in a positive direction, he and his entire team were voted or appointed out of office in as disrespectful and despicable a manner as possible at the annual communication last May and, now, it's back to business as usual in Manhattan.  The first thing the current Grand Line did was unilaterally undo every positive change Grand Master Bidnick had instituted.  After being lulled into a sense of security for his two year term, I find myself more disenfranchised by Grand Lodge than ever.  On the plus side, now that he is free of the moral restraints of the Grand East, Most Worshipful Bidnick is free to say whatever he likes and to continue to be a force for change in our jurisdication.  And I know that, at Grand Lodge, they haven't heard the last of him.  I look forward to a return to the renaissance.

My family is fine and my mom's cat Mohrchen is doing fine also after the visit at the vet, see video. My job is going normal, as far as you would call driving on overcrowded roads normal.

Still there is a lot of stuff coming up this month like my new DSL connection with all the "trouble" that comes with it when you change your provider here in Germany (see the note in the sidebar). Further I have to fix my car for the winter-time and that means changing tires, checking all fluids and wax it. And of course get all other winter stuff like broom and shovel ready. So no really exciting stuff, but it is good to have time to stay home for other things like reading and enjoying God's presence now that the days are getting shorter.

The father-son company, Human Car, have invented a car even more eco-friendly than the hybrid or whatever that hydrogen fuel-cell is.

According to this article from Wired the Imagine car is something straight out of The Flintstones (click to watch the intro). Only instead of Fred and Barney pedaling, it uses arm power (along with a little battery support). So, take one part modern Stone-Age family, one part early rail car, mix in some batteries and some recumbent features and you get the Imagine!

Hopefully cruising into a college campus near you, the Imagine is so green that it doesn’t even use ethanol – it uses calories! So, it’s clean and it fights obesity (which based on the season premiere of The Office is apparently an epidemic of huge proportions).

The car I got doesn't have that type of sound system and I didn't want to buy a new system for that.
Yesterday, I found out that there exists a car cassette adapter that allows you to connect your mp3 player to a sound system which only supports audio cassettes or audio CDs with no external input source. Rare in modern world but most builtin systems are like that in smaller cars in Pakistan.

In Karachi, Pakistan, it can be bought for 250 PKR (2.5 Euros). The cassette has an audio cable to connect to your favorite mp3 player and of course has no tape in it. Its head does the magic of playing music by faking as a real cassette with rolling magnetic tape over it.

- I’m anti-social. (Its best that way, less drama, less backstabbers, less liars, less everything).

Fuck thinking you can't make it. It looks grim, life isn't fair, it wasn't meant to be. Fuck letting the devil win. Stop letting that nigga speak for you, stop letting him live for you. Stop living in that fear of trying and it fail. You gone fall a lot in your life time, just get your ass back up and keep pushing. I'm more motivated than ever. Don't let your mind blur your best judgment. Wake the hell up, you're not getting younger, shits gone be hard. IF I CAN MAKE IT, SO CAN YOU! I wasn't suppose to be alive when I was born, but I'M HERE! Scarred and battered, emotionally unstable. I'm still living life, with my flaws, I look in the mirror now and not give A FUCK of what others think of me. They can't pay for my medical bills they can't do shit for me but be a distraction that I refuse to pay attention to. Live life you only have one. Fuck anyone who tell you different. Babies are dying so you know your life isn't promised.

Oh gosh how awful I want to sleep next to Mummy too. I am using Pathetik Face to the max but its just not working. Nothing beats actual blood if you wants attention around here I guess.

Anyways the thing that I getted that the chicken didnt get this weekend was another car ride! Yes it was so much fun but only fer the first little bit and then I got sleepy so I actually slept in the back seat the rest of the time.
